My homeland is beautiful. Beautiful Nature! I am enjoying it all. I miss it. I have never been here, but I would love it. I always wish for the best of our homeland. Especially, that we have oil. It needs to be used to uplift the infrastructure of this great country. And,it's people.

Hi ARD how U doing? Hope all is well with the family!!! Well me and my family used to live in Matthews Ridge 1983-1987, we were teachers at Matthews Ridge Primary, Mr Ram Kowlessar and Marjorie Dhanpat, my husband was acting headmaster, had to serve in hinterland before he had headmaster position, well if U can live in that place U live in any part or the world, will tell U more probably when we reach up, but a beautiful experience, then we all migrated to NY in Queens for 22 years and now in Florida , I admire U visiting all these hinterland locations but becareful with malaria !!! Great job!!! God bless

In 1977 there weren't many cars, the people mostly travelled by train from kaituma. I worked there for 2 yrs in the administration office way up on the hill top. We had party by the comunity centre and there was the playing ground right there. Lovely memories... A lot of changes since then...
