Recently I’ve found myself being desensitized to my favorite (and most reliable) ASMR videos. This video has been my gateway to your channel. I love the content of this vid (I used to watch ocean documentaries to sleep in my pre-ASMR days) and it is equally effective with or without headphones. I’ve been watching this video for four nights now. Thank you!

I feel ASMR is also a state of mind. I often thought that I was desensitized as well, yet, once in a while I go back to my usual videos and I get the ASMR effect. I can go back to the same video the next day, and it won't do anything. It just depends on my mood, if I'm truly opened to relaxation or not.

Prehistoric ocean life is my favourite time period to explore and discuss, I've always been fascinated by sea life and seeing primitive predecessors to the life we have today is nothing short of amazing. Sometimes I wish I could build a real time machine and go back to the world wide rainforests and gorgeous untouched vistas

Soooo freaking excited for bed tonight!!! @thefrenchwhispererASMR, I’d like to recommend a video over philosophy perhaps. I would love to hear your video over the history and perhaps the most known or profound theories of famous philosophers such as Aristotle, Plato, Descartes, and so on. It would be fantastic to reflect over the meaning of life and existential infinity of the universe. I’ve listened to you every night for roughly 95% of the year. Thank you for your work and providing your content for free KZitem. I hope you have a great thanksgiving!

thank you sir for your hard work!!! i’m a nursing student and it can be hard to fall asleep, this stuff gives my brain juuust enough info to ignore all the crazy thoughts racing, while also being relaxing enough i’m able to fall asleep! it’s hard to get out of that “must be studying” mode 24/7 so this tricks my brain into thinking i still am! lol. your work is so so SO appreciated and has led me to more prayer, meditation, and more self care practices that are part of my nightly routine! merci!!! 🤍 can’t wait to listen!

My mom’s a nursing professor and even she has mentioned many times how hard nursing school is. How it was stressful for her back in the day and stressful for her students now. But it’s all so worth it when you get through everything! Nurses are always the people who make going to the hospital, getting surgery, etc. so much more bearable. I’ve had lots of health issues the past few years and it’s amazing to see all the work my mom and other professors put in, and to see nursing students come out as such compassionate, lovely people. You’re going to kick nursing school’s ass and I bet you’re going to be an amazing nurse!! I know this comment is out of nowhere, but my health has been causing some extra issues lately and nurses (except for a few bad ones I’ve had lmao) always take such good care of me, take such good care of my grandpa who has lots of health issues, etc. It just fills me with lots of hope for humanity to see how many people want to dedicate their lives to helping and taking care of others.

learning today in anatomy class about how if you hear crackles in the lungs it’s because their heart is failing so we give them medicine to stop the angiotensin converting enzyme so the adrenal glands don’t make aldosterone so our kidneys don’t reabsorb water and keeps the blood pressure down which can treat the heart failure and then remembering we literally came from fish that just wiggled their way up to the dirt on a tiny speak of dust spinning in a chaotic huge universe which will be all said and done in the blink of an eye and there’s almost no chance for any other form of life to know about our society is so f*cking mind blowing…………

Amazing video, one of your best yet in terms of range and depth of information and storytelling skill to convey all of it so clearly in relatively little time! In between your uploads I’ve been listening to one of your stories from 8 years ago every night (I’ve exhausted all of your more recent ones) and it’s astonishing how consistent your level of quality has been for nearly a decade, even your first video is insanely high quality (anybody who hasn’t scrolled right down to the bottom of the videos tab is missing out on some amazing stories, I listened to Joan of Arc the night before this one). I’m glad I’m able to support you in what small way I can on Patreon as you’ve been part of my nightly ritual for nearly 3 years now.
