As someone who has never contributed anything musical, my guitar gear snobbery is extremely high. Any amplifier without the F or M as it’s first letter would never be considered. Thankful these Joyo amp heads are the perfect antidote for such snobbery!!!! Great tones in a small package that doesn’t cost a half a year’s mortgage!!!! Thanks again Shane for showing people affordable gear that sounds great!!! Cheers !🤙🏾🤙🏾🎸🤙🏾🎸🧐

The Joyo Zombie has a really fat pushed mids sort of sound to it's drive channel. In the mix this sort of sounds really sticks out from the other instruments. 😎👍

That sounded just dirty, not good dirty, but who would use the pure gain of such a cheap amp, when it's the perfect base for a good pedal? I'm looking for a "cheap" combo (small amp + 12" speaker) right now, where I can play with a good tone at low volume, but have the head room in rehearsal, but I don't think I'll find that versatility in the tube sector, seems like a 30-50 watts solid state will get me an overall better experience at all volumes 😕

I have the Joyo AtomiC (Vox AC clone). It's got a fair amount of gain to it. Dirty channel does clean up. I'm debating between the Joyo JaCMAn and Marshall DSL 1 HR for home use. It's not about the money, I want a classic Marshall tone at low volume. I want to record originals with real amps, not Multi Fx pedals or Guitar Rig etc The 40 and 50 1x12's and 100 watt 2x12 are all overkill for home use. Crap tone until you hit 1 on the master volume, but it is too loud for my liking.

As soon as you said "Class D" I lost interest. Overall, it just sounded like "any" amp during the intro music, so I dont really get how it's going for the Mesa Boogie zone. I am not saying that I hate it. For what it is it sounded fine, and I can see how a lot of players out there could get a lot of mileage out of this amp..especially at the price point.

@@intheblues Hmmm.. Really? Well thats good to know. It didnt come across so much on KZitem though. Then again, that's no surprise. lol I have a Joyo pedal that's basically a "Fender amp in a pedal"...and for what it does..it's pretty OK. Now, while I was buying that pedal I noticed they had another one for Mesa.. I'm thinking they used the Mesa pedal circuit and used it as a starting point, added a tube and a power section, and presto you have an amp. If that is indeed what they did, it was very smart of them. Now I wish that I'd heard their Mesa pedal. lol
