JP, you are by far my favorite drummer, and Dave is so amazing. I've never seen so much talent in two individuals. I got so lost in this. It seemed so full, as if I was listening to an entire orchestra playing a symphony. Then when it was over I remembered that it's just two buddies doing some amazing improvisation.

Dude the whole video was killer but from 4:20 - 6:13. Man that was inspiring! You just knew how to capture that moment man, and as much as I love to see shredding, that was just pure musicality.

He doesn't have to do anything "special" if he's jamming with a friend and locking in on a tight groove. Staying in the pocket and feeling the groove is its own reward.

Those are the stock DW heads. They are like clear Ambassadors with a little bit of coating around the edges. I think you can order them from DW regardless of whether or not you have one of their kits.

Although I think Luke is an absolute beast of a player, I think overall JP may be better for this project. JP is better about not overplaying but fitting in the music. I would say that JP is just a better musician than Luke even though Luke is a killer player. Luke is just so very good at what he does and isn't necessarily as versatile as JP. But I think it might be cool to see a drum shed with JP, Adam Tuminaro, David Cola, Luke Holland, Cobus Potgieter, Wojtek Deregowski, Troy Wright, Mike Johnston, and Stan Bicknell. If you could get all those guys in the same room with a few kits, I am sure by the end of the night the room would just be bleeding creativity and chops.
