He explained it like he was a scientist explaining an experiment and all its variables. What a bro.

The context was they were discussing whether pork or beef were easier to cook. The other guy said that all you need for a pig is fire and a spit. Which is fairly true. Then Joe Rogan said he disagreed and proceeded to describe a multi step process. So it was just a goofy answer when he clearly just wanted to talk about how he likes to do his steak. Pork is by far the easiest meat to cook. It's hard to overdo. It's very fatty. And tastes good with a lot of stuff, it's flavor is pretty mild.

How is that not simple? 1)Set temp on Traeger or oven to 265° and let the steak get to 110° internal temp. 2)Pull out once temp is achieved and sear in pan with oil for 2 minutes or more depending on your crust liking. 3)Once your crust is achieved, take it out of the pan and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting it, so the juices redistribute. If you can’t follow those instructions, you shouldn’t be in the kitchen or by a grill.

Beef tallow, not oil

Did you know you only lose 0.2% more juice if you take the steak off 10-15 degrees F below your desired cooking temp then cut it as soon as it’s at your desired temp? Keep eating your cold steak and saying the juices are “redistributing” lmao it’s a steak. After cooking most if not all the juices on the outside of the steak should be gone.

Not even close to the flavor of a strictly pan seared steak. Salt, pepper, butter, rosemary, thyme, and garlic.

Maybe not a regular one, but try the deli area. Also, if you make beef bone broth or cook any beefs for a while, you can use the fat that remains. You can then strain it with some cheese cloth and put it in the fridge.

Joe Rogan loses sooooo many man points. A fucking pellet grill bro? Wasting all that meat he gets from his friends by cooking it in a schoolgirls bbq
