@TheMarchingNerd: they actually do play on the up beats or syncopated rhythms if you wanted to be technical,

@bigtromboneguy The only way to find out what SOP means is to march in the Boom and then u will find out the true meaning of SOP and not what the letters stand for.

SOP doesnt have an Word Spell Out. it haves an Definition. I Been Marching with JSU for 3 years now and its a secret tradition. >_> or if you really want to know just mssg me :)

Ok look, this is for the clueless. This is a march. One of seven that we play. I would know I'm in the section, third year marching. Maybe your band should learn a few.
