This was PURE GENIUS. Open the show with a slow song, have the lead vocal start off stage and have the singer slowly ascend into sight. Instead of the usual "hit you over the head" barn burner opener they opted for a slow build. Genius. I'm so glad I grew up in this era of musicianship and stagecraft

Whenever I hear this song I just cannot help myself and start singing it out loud like I did as a kid on late 80s while playing my brother’s cassettes and years later when I started learning English through JP and other bands

Incredible song, incredible band. The shows back then were mind blowing. JP still kicks ass, looking forward to seeing them again on their upcoming tour.

They came to town when I was in high school in 1984 and didn’t come back until this past summer, 30 years later, but I couldn’t make it. Watching this is making me sad because I’ll probably never see them live again…
