if there was any case at all, they ruined it forever. this is either dumb or dirty.

Imagine the numbers of people who have been victimized worse than victims of tragedies, because of corrupt lawyers, DA's and judges repeatedly doing this with no kind of morals. It is finally about time that we start demanding that investigators do their jobs thoroughly and without their personal opinions on any crimes they are responsible for solving. This is no different than karen read. I swear if every person charged with a crime held out for a jury they would have a much better chance of proving their innocence. The cops had it out for Alec. I get there at people that are guilty. But I bet there are so many that aren't and took a deal. It's corrupt to even be offering deals at all. Do your jobs and try your cases. Then when things like this happen, you will fair better than if you took a deal and claimed you did something you didn't do. Taking a plea is like committing a crime against yourself. Our justice system needs a complete makeover. Until that happens the people who work in these court rooms are going to continue to break laws and believe they can get away with it. Filing it in a different folder....come on!!! Keep doing what your doing and you will find your self at that defense table.

Giving that much money to the dems for years and being the main mocking impersonator of the Hated Trump has side perks.

Mistrial? ok..with prejudice? Why not just retry the case with the new evidence?

It's not a mistrial. It's a complete dismissal.

This was intentional. Hopefully the family sues the crap out of him for wrongful death. He never should of hired a rookie woman to be the armorer for the production

He should have never been charged. It's not an actor's responsibility to check all the props on a movie set. The person who's job it was, is already being punished. Alec Baldwin already has to live with the trauma of a terrible accident resulting in another person's death. He'll have to live with that the rest of his life. But he's still not guilty of a crime. End of story

He was the executive producer; it was absolutely his responsibility. His negligence on multiple levels caused the death of another..

Who aimed the gun and pulled the trigger at the director? Why? Was that in the script to aim it at the director? If he aimed it at the camera and fired, that bullet would have stopped inside the camera after going through the lenses.

@@jjman533 Baldwin claimed that he never pulled on the trigger, but was working with the director on how he should hold the gun in a scene rehearsal. He claimed that he pulled back on the hammer. In any case, they have responsibilities delegated on a set. The Screen Actors Guild guidelines are that actors are not qualified to "brass check" and must rely on professional firearms handlers. I also don't expect perfect accuracy when an actor is assuming that it doesn't contain live ammunition. They're portraying scenes where guns are being pointed at people.

The person responsible for handling the guns in that film crew is already being punished. That was the justice

I’m sure the family will sue for wrongful death. He was the executive producer and fired the gun so it’s on him as much as the armorer

@@user-xr8dq6ly7g She did not point the gun and pull the trigger. Hannah now has an appealable error for failure to disclose so she may walk too.

She's going to get a new trial over this. Her defence was that the ammunition was sabotaged . Looks like she may have had a point.
