Yup, like if she had been reporting but had screwed up somewhat and ended up going back, I could see him giving her a few days or so, but no she's been ignoring them for the past year, doing her own thing, that's not someone you can trust to turn themselves in.

I did years of federal probation. It's easy! I don’t understand how people mess it up so often. But, then again, I stayed clean of drugs and will stay off them for life. Going on 7 years clean after 15 years of addiction. Praise Jesus

A retired judge told me that a lot of people that he saw in court it was the worst day of their life. They did what they were told and made sure they never went to court again. Then there were the ones that just kept coming back.

The meth has reduced her IQ by about 30 points. You can tell that by the tattoo on her neck, making her virtually unemployable. Meth is bad, m'kay? Don't use meth. As Judge John Stevens, Jr. of Beaumont, TX would say, try gummy bears instead (Judge Stevens' uncle was on the SCOTUS for years). Gummy bears may not be good for you but at least they aren't addictive nor will they reduce your IQ.

I've seen some of her previous court appearances. She has NEVER taken the court seriously because she has always been given a slap on the hand. I think the courts are just finally fed up with her entitled behavior.

I can't imagine EVER going to court without giving myself at LEAST 30-45 minutes (probably an hour or so) wiggle room, just in case there are delays, especially in a criminal case. This isn't a scheduled oil change on your car or even a doctor's appointment, where they're usually OK if you show up a show up a little late. It's a damn criminal court case, where the judge can find you in contempt and issue a warrant for your arrest if you show up late. That's just not worth the risk.

They have given her so many chances, and she just refuses to follow the court order. Which the court order is very simple, it wasn't hard to follow. I believe people think they can dobwhat they want to do and not have consequences for their actions. I truly believe that guy was her boyfriend because of the laws most employers will not ask to give their employees a hug due to sexual harassment on the job laws. She truly messed around and found out.

The guy is probably a public defender and doesn't have time to prepare. The purpose of a public defender is to ensure constitutional requirements aren't violated and to negotiate a plea deal -- NOT to take it to trial and possibly get the defendant off. If the defendant pushes for a trial he/she can have it but the public defender won't have the time to do a good job at it.

I have been in front of a judge only twice in my life. Whatever I was told to do by the judge I prioritized. Fortunately they were minor infractions but the one in Los Angeles was a huge PITA but I did everything I was told. Family understands. Work understands. And the legal system understands too. I haven’t been in a court since 1988 and pray I never will again.

Showing up late to court was a very big mistake, she aggravated the judge. She’s a baby. Get there real early so that there is no way you are late. Wait there. Also she clearly has been crying since childhood into getting her way - it comes on fast and furious.

I had a court date ( traffic infractions ) I was the first person in the court room when they opened the doors. The judge saw me ( alone, sitting there, dressed appropriately ) before court started. He remembered me and was not as harsh as he could have been.

I absconded from probation for over 4 years! However, during that time I got myself out of that lifestyle put MYSELF into recovery - going 6 years straight & strong - I worked my butt off (so I can bond out as soon as I was caught) I made amends with my family, regained my relationship with my now sober mother, I COMPLETELY changed my life around so that when I finally went before a judge I had progress... Thank God he reinstated my probation which I completed successfully... That 4 years was the worst ever, had no id so I couldn't do it go anywhere, I couldn't call 911 when I was robbed and shot at, I couldn't get caught driving... It was so horrible
