The Kuroiwa fights are a great example of my favourite martial arts movie trope: both characters use the same style; the bad guy is more technically proficient but the main character's style has been refined in fights against equals whereas the bad guy has always been on top, never having to struggle. Because of this difference, the bad guy takes an early lead but ultimately can't keep up with the main character's flexibility and drive to survive. The main character adapts to the better fighter, like he's been doing this whole time but the bad guy can't, because he's never had to.

I’ve been thinking, Kuroiwa is a homicide Police detective but Ayabe implied that he murdered the cop who ratted out his mentor. How many homicides cases were legit and how many did Kuroiwa preform himself only to have others take the fall. Serial Killers often love attention. Perfect cop to the society. Feared assassin in the Underworld. He really gives vibes that he really enjoys killing especially the cutscene before the final battle.
@TheOnlyLonelyBoy

Considering the ramifications of Kuroiwa's position, I imagine he was a terrifyingly competent cop, considering he'd know where people would tend to hide things at, as he'd perform the deeds himself. He beat a man into a coma just to have him die a week or two later, so it's incredibly likely that the murders he committed were less a frame job and more just cold cases, or 'accidental' deaths.

The dev should have add also the writing Mitsuru Kuroiwa (aka the Mole) to add more chills... Oh for those who are having problem in this fight in Legend mode, remember you still have couples of aces in your sleeve aka the extracts. Use either die hard (180s for refilling health once reach 0) OR the one that gains you immunity from stun and breaking enemies guard. Just remember that only 1 extract can be used at a time. Extracts can be hard to make since the items can be rare or expensive to buy it. At 2:44 they kick each other, that’s pretty cool, but I just noticed that it looks a bit pointless because neither one of those kicks would have connected with the person they were trying to kick. Their kicks only went as far as the other person’s ankle. Sure you might think they spaced it, but neither one of them backs up to meet the other’s kick. But I suppose you can assume that both Kuroiwa and Yagami assumed the other would attack with anything else with kick and therefore kicked, but then again, they both saw each other’s kick coming, I’d say.

All this could've been solved with human testing subjects with people on death row. It'd be a bit harder, but then again it solves the problem between war with the yakuza families. Or removing Shono in the first place of course.

Why do you use Crane in boss fights, if at all? You can't break guards, it's really only useful for the Ex Boost Ex Action and even then, the Wall Attack Grab is the most useful thing for crowd control.

Crane isn't exactly exclusively for Group fights, and same goes for Tiger with Bosses.

Hey leon can i ask why do every youtuber play legend instead of easy mode? (Not being rude I'm just confused))
@devilleon7

I don't think everyone on KZitem plays Legend as far as I know, but if someone does, it's probably for the challenge. That, and you'd get the Legend difficulty trophy after beating the game. (If there is one)

@@demochris1786 You do, but you really feel like you're up against actual bosses on Legend, not goons who barely do any damage. You have to be a bit smarter about what you're going to do and you practice becoming graceful with the combat in the process.
