After being a fan of The Seekers for over 50 years, the passing of Judith has not only been a very sad event in my life and many others, but has also suddenly made me very aware of my own advancing age and mortality. Judith's long adventure through this life is now over and she's at last reunited with Ron in her eternal life, while I still have a few steps left to go on my own journey. Bon Voyage Judith and thanks for all the wonderful music and memories!!

Rest in peace Judith Durham. The voice of the Sixties, many generations, and proud Australian lady. Grew up listening to the Seekers in my youth. The first song in my younger days, l used to sing was Morningtown Ride. Always sang to my siblings to get them to sleep. The voice of an angel, once heard never forgotten. And never will be. Deepest condolences to the family, the Seekers & all Australians on this sad day. To politely mis quote a famous song. There never will be, another you. God bless and keep you Judith. As a child of the 60s I grew up listening to the Seekers, and loved all their songs. Judith is and probably always will be, the greatest female voice to ever come out of Australia. Her vocal range was like no other, and her voice was so pure, that you could hear every word so easily. You never had to guess the lyrics with Judith's singing. A true God given talent, that not many in the music industry actually have, especially over the last 2 decades. Vale Judith. Thank you for sharing your amazing voice with the world. Judith had a vocal range that surpasses ONJ in how many notes she could sing and her ability to not only sing each note, but hold the note as well. She was pitch perfect as this vid will prove kzitem.info/news/bejne/tmmLy5WLendzYHo. But I am not here to argue with you on this point,. You can believe if you want that ONJ had the most angelic voice, and I am allowed to disagree. Sad that you had to come onto a post and video tribute about Judith Durham dying to give your opinion that you think ONJ is a better singer. I consider that incredibly tacky. But you obviously are an ONJ fan who felt the need to state your case on a tribute to Judith vid. Me on the other hand, I wouldn't even think of going on a vid of a tribute to ONJ to state I think that Judith was a way better singer and why I thought so. It's called having some decorum.

So many special memories. I grew up in a house where my mother loved the Seekers & scraped the money together to buy a few 45s & play them on the old stereogram. On the other side of the world in London, my best friends father was doing the same. When they announced the first reunion tour, I got good seats & took my Mum. The joy on her face is something I will never forget. She died a few months later. That best friend from London, ended up in Australia, & we too went to the ever expanding reunion tour, also in Sydney. We have now been married over 25 years. Judiths death is like losing a loved one, but the music & that special memory of my Mum, will last forever.

No me lo esperaba, una tristeza conocer sobre su partida. Soy fan de los Seekers desde hace 8 años aproximadamente, y desde entonces no paro de escucharlos, me encantan demasiado, los admiro por su fabulosa música que me hace soñar despierta.

Loved her singing first, but as I learned more about her in the late 60’s until today I respected her even more and I had tears hearing of her death. RIP Judith

Watching this has brought tears to my eyes. I have loved Judith and the Seekers from way back in the 60's. lots of famous people have died in that time since then but only Judith's death has broken my heart. R.I.P Sweet angel. 💔

Can't believe this news only finding this out now,it's a disgrace that the British or Irish press did not carry news of her death, she was a lovable georgeous lady who made my life so better with her wonderful voice,a voice that's transcends, generations,a lady who was so gentle, and as I lost my own wife recently,I feel now a double loss and as I sit here with tears in my eyes I just want to express my gratitude to Judy and the Seekers for the wonderful years you gave us.Australia has lost a treasure and should never forget her and her outstanding ,beautiful voice.

Lovely tribute to a beautiful, talented lady with a totally unique voice. She made this crazy world a much better place to endure. Thankfully she has left us with a legacy of remarkable music for us all to enjoy in the future, and to remember her for what she was.....THE VERY BEST. A very touching moment at 4.15 when Keith starts to breakdown, we all know how you feel, but doubly so in your case, after all you've been through and done together over the past six decades. The carnival is really over now, but the memories will endure. RIP Judith.

Muy triste me siento hoy al conocer la muerte de esta estupenda y hermosa lead singer de los Seekers. Muy favorita en Costa Rica. Nos sumamos al duelo y al dolor de su pérdida.

For me, The Seekers represent all that is good about music. Honesty, truthful, straightforward, genuine , and above all, authentic! Those marvellous dulcet tones of Ms Durham's voice, backed up by a true Band, shall stay with me forever. I guess in a way the carnival is over, but the music is everlasting!
