Juice definitely the most relatable S.O.A character. Because the harder he tried the worse things got. Definitely relatable.

Juice was backed into a corner when the truth about his father came out. In his mind if he got thrown out of the club, he had no where else to go. He couldn't live with losing the family he found in the MC. We know it because of how shit ended in the last season. He'd have been okay if he had gotten out when Gemma told him to. He just couldn't stand the thought of being alone.

I'm not going to lie from the first time I saw this show I always thought juice was someone who should not be in that world he simply wasn't cut out for it juice was the classic example of trying to find a home and family in the wrong places it only made it worse because he was definitely one of my favorite characters and one of the most loyal members of Sam Cro because in his mind everything he did was for the club and it really was so I can't help but to feel sorry for how it all ended up for him

I'm just seeing this now even though your video is over a year old. I have to say I've seen a couple of your other videos but this one was particularly intense because you delve into every facet of Juice completely understanding not only his actions and reasonings but also his mental state in each situation. You're so precise and spot on that only a person who's dealt with similar situations, feelings and darkness can see beyond the superficial to the core issues. As I said, I know this is more than a year old and you make a disclaimer at the end of this video about you having a difficult time. I hope things have gotten so much better for you and that you've come through any struggles successfully, finding, if not joy, at least peace of mind and contentment. Thank you for an excellent video.

Excellent analysis, I've subscribed. It really felt like Juice was almost a non-character in the first couple of seasons to be honest, like the writers didn't really know what to do with him. I guess that's why he had his huge plot added in later, to actually give the character something to do lol.

When I finished watching the entire series of soa. I cannot help but notice that there were color members in the sons club. Chico, montez and Armando were Mexican browns members. Which I find odd that colors were not allowed in. Lastly v lin was the first Asian member in the club. Juice should've been frightening about being half black considering Puerto Ricans are mix race brown and black.

Jax's response to Juice made me very ok with Jax meeting Mr. Mayhem or getting his by some other means. Why? Because there were so many parallels between what Jax and Juice were going through. Even in how they went out. But in Jax's Emma and Clay like hypocrisy he couldn't acknowledge that even though Jax was incredibly and endearingly self aware. Both had a major character turn based on their biological fathers. Both made concessions and turned rat in order to protect themselves and justified it as if they were only trying to protect the club. Both proliferated lies that led to a ton of unnecessary death and bloodshed. Both could have gotten away but couldn't bring themselves to it. Both hit the wall and realized they had no where else to turn and decided to go out with as much honor as possible, doing as much good for the club on their way out as they could. Both were pretty self aware and smarter than they got credit for at times but not as smart as they need to be in other times. Jax was just smarter. More important. More connected. More charismatic. And more loved by the club and others. I loved them both and I was happy to see both of them go but I didn't want them to go at the same time.

It’s sad when all these KZitem channels censor words that need to be said and discussed. “Unalive” not only sounds silly, it also makes us shy away become desensitized from important subjects and start acting like they don’t happen. It’s ok to say “suicide” and it’s ok to say “kill”, and it’s ok to say “rape”. These things happen. Stop pretending they don’t and contributing to people living in ignorance.
@JoshFleeks66
Жыл бұрын
I agree that it does sound silly. However, as creators, we still have to comply with KZitem's TOS. It's not worth it to spend weeks or months working content just for it to be suppressed, demonetized, or taken down because you say or show something that's deemed a violation. I've seen it happen to too many small and large creators alike. If you want to grow on the platform, you have to play by their rules. It is what it is.

a family at all is more important to him than even loyalty to the family. contradiction of what the patch represents on it's own and what it represents to him, specifically, is what makes trying to get away with what would eventually kill him preferable to being merely banished. juice is the little coward that could and "you went out good, sweetheart" is an all time great line in context.

The comment about Juice being involved in a world he didn't belong in was true. All the others could commit violence and crimes and compartmentalize it and move on, but Juice couldn't. It all haunted him. And guilt ate him alive. Having Juice kill the drug addicted woman was a major mistake. That task should have fallen to Happy or even Tig. It also annoyed me that Nero never forgave Juice when he expressed, he was sorry, but he did forgive Jax who never expressed remorse. I also think that part of the reason Juice helped Gemma was related to his guilt over Clay and the loyalty he still felt for Clay. He knew Clay would have wanted someone to step in and save Gemma and Juice did so for that reason, but Gemma being Gemma, she of course betrayed him. And what happened to Juice in prison was so wrong. And when Jax says to Tully, "He can use a little loving" I have to say that was one moment I hated Jax. Not even Clay would have been okay with something like that. And yes, that scene between Theo and Charlie was brilliant. I would say it ranks in the top five scenes in the series. I also hated that Juice's last act was to die for the sake of the club maintaining a relationship with Tully's crew but no one ever knew.

Dude I did not expect to see the subs and views not be in the thousands. I love SOA and wanted a good breakdown of aspects of the show. Would love to discuss the realness and bizarre world of gang politics as we see through out the show. Many think it's too unrealistic but that's coming from.perspectives of the viewer and their lack of experience with the gang politics or culture. Or how August Marks made the genius plan to take control of Pope Indistries and the Niners but ultimately botching it because he got to egotistical and arrogant beyond Pope. Edit. Idk how the white gangs work so they aren't included. I need their politics and how they are broken down in universe to understand. Same with the mob [at times]

Seeing a person of colour go through the details of Juices worries of being disowned and kicked out of the club is such a breath of fresh air. I can't talk for all Sons Of Anarchy fans but as a white man myself watching sons the first time I definitely had my doubt and skeptism about this particular story. I found Juices thought process so bizzare because I couldn't imagine someone being segragated over such a small thing. I just couldn't relate but this really helped. One thing I never got over is why the sons allowed Hispanics and other people of different Ethnicity join the club we see it with Happy and Juice before the club knew of his real race even with Chibs being a full Scottish man in an otherwise fully proud American club but it's a great show with great writing.

I can’t for the life of me remember what episode it was but there was a scene with Clay and Gemma talking in bed where they mention Juice. That's more or less what I was going for. As I'm telling his story, I'm also going over some of the intricacies of his character. For people who haven't seen the show, without that nuance and build up starting in S4, I was worried that he would come off like a sociopath who just does shit on a whim. Or worse, he'd seem like a bad character. My script could be a little tighter though so I see your point,
