At the time, this "lacipecsenye" pork steak was our first attempt in the kitchen together, and it was an immediate success; an extremely tasty dish, it has been one of the favorites ever since (like every single dish in the #kettenfőzénz series). In the old days, in the country kitchens, this dish meant a pork slice freshly fried in fat with onions and peppers over a high heat, but we marinate it and fry it until soft in butter. Even preparing it is an experience (especially together), and the sight and the orgy of aromas and flavors cannot be compared to anything else. Try it everyone!
Ingredients:
6-8 approx. 1 cm thick slice of pork ribs, 5 red onions, 8 cloves of garlic, 10 dkg of goose fat (of course, this can be replaced with pig or bear fat, but probably also works with oil)
Spices:
1-2 spoons of ground pepper cream, 1 small bunch of parsley, approx. 1 kilo of potatoes, salt, cracked colored pepper, coriander seeds, sweet and noble ground red pepper, ground cumin
