That's funny because I remember i listened to this like 7 years ago and was totally mesmerized, but so sad because I couldn't find it on KZitem after that (thanks to my nonexistent memory)and what a good surprise to find it in my feed today ! (Thx google lol) I love it !

2nd movement: @3:57 - 5:10 and @6:37 - 7:05 On the second movement, your golden flute has brought the wonderful imitations of... the silvery voice of the lark before daybreak, singing from dark to light! And the whole piece: Bravo, Sir James!
@musik350

Isn't that actually a falcon, judging from the resemblance to Strauss' falcon leitmotif?

You've got that mangled. It's "the sweet silver song of a lark", not "the silvery voice of the lark before daybreak, singing from dark to light!" That doesn't even scan.

He’s most likely playing on a 14k gold Nagahara. He’s been playing on Nagahara flutes since the 80’s but I could be wrong. I know that he was a Haynes artist in the past.
