You should take out the "score of the game" segment it's always a clunky segment, because the guest chooses the game beforehand so obviously when it comes time to score they're going to give 9/10's for every category

Top lifetime Super Bowl memory for me. Moms from Jersey so I was pulling for the Giants and was 11. I remember clearly being so afraid of the Bills making the kick that I hid under the couch cushion peaking through. Afterwards we erupted. What a game.

I was stationed overseas during this game and we had to stay up till midnight to see the opening kickoff. Where we were, the Armed Forces Network didn’t show any of the pregame or halftime festivities that were supposed to ”honor” the military serving in the Gulf War. We didn’t even know about Whitney’s national anthem performance until a month later when the VHS tape arrived from my sister-in-law. 🤨

Left out one of the biggest missed field goals in NFL history. Gary Anderson hadn’t missed a kick in 122 attempts and was the first kicker in NFL history to have a perfect season in 1998 when he lined up for the 39-yarder that would send Atlanta to the Super Bowl. Vikes fans are still haunted to this day.

That championship game between the 49ers and giants might have been even better...hard hitting game...what I THINK gets overlooked about those 49er teams is how good their defense was ( bills too)

If this game isn't a 10 I don't know what is. As a lifetime suffering Viking fan, Perfect all Season-Gary Anderson wide left miss vs the Falcons to go to the Superbowl has to be top 3 fg misses.

If you want to know how hard to win it is in the NFL look at this game and the one where the Giants beat the undefeated Patriots. In this game the game plan was to keep the ball away from Buffalo’s offense and to chew up as much clock as possible. Giants executed it perfectly. And yet the Bills, despite the fact that they hadn’t seen a lot of the ball and they weren’t able to get it going on offense, AND the Giants executed their game plan to perfection, were a very makable field goal away from winning it. In Super Bowl 42 the Giants simply needed to pressure and harass Tom Brady as much as possible and they did that and they handcuffed the greatest offensive unit of all time… and the Pats who were playing bad on offense all game still managed to take the lead with about 2 minutes left to go. Buffalo and New England should have won both of those games despite the Giants executing their game plan perfectly. That gets forgotten because of a missed field goal and a dropped interception but man is it hard to win in this league

One of the most forgotten greatest coaching jobs ever. Lost Rodney Hampton, Phil Simms, Carl Banks missed half the season and they had to bring in Matt Bahr to kick after Raul Allegre got hurt.

I mean the sad thing about Pete Rose though I mean yeah he had a gambling problem but I don't see the problem with what he was gambling because most of the time I would say almost 100% of the time he was gambling on himself and then he went out there and performed higher than any other player most of the time

I believe out of the four Super Bowl wins for the Giants, this was the more ultimate team win. Yes, it's close with the 2007 Giants that upset the undefeated Patriots, but from top to bottom this took every ounce from everyone on the team to win this one with a few fortunate breaks/plays (Craig fumble, Montana getting knocked out, Reasons fake punt, Ingram 3rd and 13 conversion, 40 mins T.O.P. in SB, Hostetler not fumbling when hit by B. Smith for safety, Norwood miss), but most of the time you need at least one or two to win it all. Great show and loved watching Julian play. However, he'd be a lot more pleasant to listen to without the profanity.
