08:11 RIP Noel Collins 1936-2011 RIP David Ellison 1939-2010 Juliet Bravo ran from 1980-1985 and 88 episodes were made. GREAT TV show from an era when it was worth having a TV set in your home. They don't make them like this anymore sadly!

Yes! I wholeheartedly agree! Unpicking The Stitches, such a twist. Something the man that asked for assistance in hiding the witness made me think it was a charade.

Those were the days, Police stations that were actually open.

When there was a police station full stop! I live in a very large and rapidly expanding county town without one! They have to come seven miles on the only road from a very popular seaside town. Cannot remember the last time I saw a car sitting on a roundabout watching the traffic (remember those?) Or,god forbid, police walking the town centre. Meanwhile paying for your shopping seems to be an optional extra for a certain sort of middle class woman, speeding in residential areas is rife and people feel unsafe and powerless.

So many things this generation will never experience. From party line home phones to all the TV stations signing off at 12:00 midnight. My neighbors kid freaked out when Walmart stopped staying open 24hrs, imagine if the internet started shutting down at midnight.

I love her Mini and I love Joe's Ford Escort Popular

Both of those oneself used to own and drive in those and even earlier days. The Mini was fun! The 1100 Escort was smooth in the gearbox but kinda really really really gutless to drive lol . . that was the 'economy' model for kindie and shopping.

Agreed, it was so different to other Police Procedurals, focusing more on the day to day Policing of Rural Communities as opposed to zooming around chasing Villains and blowing away the Villains

Is the lady cop who's in charge of the other officers still alive? She played the part well.

Can anyone tell me what that tower is in the background at 5:32. I've seen it in several different TV programs. By clicking on my comment, your answer will be sent to me. I very much appreciate it. Thank you.

Was great to see the Hop again Back in early 80's I remember watching Wham in there. Not George Michael, but a local band. From what I can remember they were good
