Are you aware of the homeless in UK ? Humans used to hunt and gather , forage and farm the land to survive. Now we go through an educational system to make us civilized redundant , abundant , slaves. Won't do a specific job or task? At least another 100 applicants will. Unless the system can absorb us into the concrete jungle we are rendered obsolete as soon as there is an unemployment period gap in the resume or if you change jobs too often or grow old. If these people were allowed to reclaim and work the land then at least they would have a life to live but the system can't have that , they system owns everything. You've got to pay your taxes. How different is today from the dark ages? Medieval nobles = Politicians and Officials Serfs and peasant = the rest of the abundant redundant populous.

It’s naive and arrogant to assume those citizens didn’t do their duty for themselves. Many had not a penny left after caring for a family, paying for college, and, in some cases, helping out a couple others. Some who were in business had all they could manage to survive the numerous recessions. Just FYI - during recessions many distributors and dealers can’t pay their invoices, which means the recipients won’t be able to pay theirs, which means some have to file bankruptcy to no fault of their own. It’s so easy for those who haven’t been there to gloss over what “others should have done.”

And prices for basic things are getting more and more expensive. In a country with 2 political parties only you can choose between cholera and typhus. But in Switzerland too (I'm from there) we have 10 Percent living in poverty. 60 % of employed people have no money left at the end of the month...and the big rest of Europe is even worse!

I see a lot of people waiting for free food who don't appear to be living on the street or doing it really tough. They appear neatly dressed, healthy and nearly always wearing a face mask. Some wearing gloves. There is a consistency in their dress and many are in pairs, waiting to be served. One free meal; a day could simply be supplementing the 2 other meals they serve themselves. I wonder if those truly hungry are missing out.

Remember the movie Interstate 60. This situation is accurately shown there. The main character visited the city of Benton. This town is notable for the fact that a special chemical drug, “euphoria”, is allowed for use there. The one who used it once will never recover from addiction. Moreover, the drug is distributed by local authorities, who themselves order new batches and control deliveries. Benton is a wonderful place... They have a simple happy life for the average person. No responsibility, no extra thoughts...

@@5thdimension625 Yes you're right. "Brave new world" is a good analogy in this case: the government encourages its citizens to take soma to eliminate misery. He doesn't want his citizens to question the system or become disillusioned, and the soma is just one of many tools of social control that makes it easier to maintain social order.

@user-kz4iv9wf7n

@@truthadvocacy In my opinion, these people are unhappy and ruining their lives. I am trying to explain what these people are for the system, which is clearly illustrated in the works of mass culture (Interstate 60, Brave new world). There are two reasons for this situation. 1) Economic (decline in income, increase in cost of living) 2) Interest of the system in this development of events. In this case, the system represents elite influential groups (government, power structures (police, security service, intelligence), mafia), which are closely intertwined and act as a whole. They have several priorities: 1. Obtaining maximum profit at minimum costs (which they are good at - they make a good profit, they do not need to think about the sales market - delivery to the same quarter of the city, 2) Preserving power and status (which is good for them, because homeless people and drug addicts do not pose any danger to them (they will not go to a rally demanding the overthrow of the government, or an increase in wages, social security). These people are simply excluded from any socio-economic processes, except for the purchase and consumption of drugs.
