Roadhouse!!! Man this takes me back! I worked at a sporting goods shop in the mid-90s and was their inline skate guy. Playing Senate videos all day, selling wheels and skates to local skaters, and Roadhouse was my fav back then! I’m 49 now and getting back into skating and couldn’t be more stoked!!

Randy is like the Robert DeNiro of bladers to us old school grommets. Adam Carroselli used to want to be like him so badly, with the supetwides and Crayolas lol. Ill never forget that, and then the Majestic 12s right after VG3. Had to have his mom get them for him. But come on, we all did man. He was the king of us teens in the mid 90s. He was the teenage skate god. Is there anyway you guys can try and get Rawlinson on? I'd love to hear his story. He's like one of the original OGs that just totally up and left and you don't ever hear from anymore and he's from our home city. I know hes killing it with his Tech and I. T. work, but I just don't understand why he never shows up at any blade events at all. The dude is a legend. Dave Kollasch is another great I'd love to see if you can pull it off. Great work again guys, so glad I found this channel.

There were styles before Randy but he set the pace for a new refined one in his VG3 profile. That section forever changed the game in style and tricks (the inception of the full boot royale that made that trick THE ONE and all of the tricks that came from it at the time, late 95 early 96) Literally set history. Reminds me very much of Guy Marianos skateboard section in the Blind video in 1989, same song, same new progressive style, same young kind of kid like all of us at that time. Link below to Guys skateboard section, it's eerily the same in song choice, grommet style, and revered in the same way the VG3 section is but in the skateboard world and you have to understand NO skateboarding was this clean at that time with such a good street style, effortless looking tricks, with new tricks just like Roadhouses section. I started with skateboarding before rollerblading, started blading in 1992, when I saw Randys section in late 95 early 96 I couldn't believe the similarity though and it got me psyched for rollerbladings future. kzitem.info/news/bejne/qJeQu3xmjqhqlqQ
