The goal from this session is to use energy from a "load up movement" to propel the jump. We warm up the feet and ankles to start, then get the feeling of being bouncy with our banded jumps. After that, we focus on a lot of deceleration, so hitting the brakes hard which will prepare us for our upcoming movements. A big thing about jumping from an approach is that we need to be great at decelerating to go from forward to up. Train that ability as part of your jump training, and you'll see big difference.
