20 trinket runs are really fun and you can pretty easily do them in under 90 minutes so this game is a pretty fun game to replay and try and get a better time on

I replay VVVVVV 100% every once in a while, and seeing Tyler actually taking time to get the Doing Things The Hard Way trinket (which is considered the hardest in the game) makes me respect him even more than I already do. Excited for Part 2, wonder if he'll get the Prize for the Reckless or the Edge Games trinkets :P

Some interesting room names. For example, one teleporter room was called the Philadelphia experiment, referencing a 1955 conspiracy theory that the US Navy turned a ship invisible and teleported it. Pretty interesting story if you haven’t heard of it before.

at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

This game was a big part of my childhood. I remember being very proud of beating it and collecting all trinkets. And I was very sad after parting with the 3DS I had it on. Definitely a game I should replay some time, but for now watching you play it seems like a good time.

Ever since Terry released the source code on the game's 10 year anniversary, you can get a free PC "make and play" version which allows you to use the custom level editor and play other people's custom levels! You still have to pay if you want to play the original campaign though. (also hello fellow nz flightless bird)

I played this game when it first came out, and after 30 minutes i gave up on that trinket. Instead, i wrote a simple c# windows service that would stream inputs to the game, allowing me to write a little xml document with key timings to more or less TAS that section. Sure, i could have just played it for another 30 minutes and gotten it without cheating, but the cheating was so fun... One of the best soundtracks ever. Thanks for sharing this...

If its like the flash version, you have 1 "charge", wich resets upon touching ground. If you walk off a cliff and reverse gravity, it still works, but only once

Going through your back catalogue and found you'd played one of my favourite games (edit: and game soundtracks, because it is *phenomenal*), glad you're enjoying it as much as I did. And extra glad I got to see you beating Doing Things The Hard Way. Though if you ever want to feel like you're *not* good at this game, Terry Cavanagh (the developer) has a video of himself going in and beating Doing Things The Hard Way on the first attempt. :P

A classic, glad he found this one! Though: "Yeah, still need to get the blue guy..." me in my head, having played this at like eleven years old and having been engaged with the characters: HER name is Victoria you Heathen Tangent, trivia: Viridian, the protagonist, is never referred to with any pronouns in the game--only name or title.

Fun fact: I thought Tyler completed farewell because I was watching the streams in archive but never finished them, so I decided to complete farewell because I was inspired by someone who got that far in that game being it's first platformer, a few months later Tyler says he never completed farewell meaning that i completed it with a fake excuse or something:'l anyway, you can do it jsjsjs.
