How are they at actually running on the trail? Do you constantly have to worry about footing or are they pretty solid on uneven terrain sou you can move fast?
@ytusernameable

+Kevin Cabrera - I was wondering the same thing- also, what happens of the terrain is mucky. These things would be great for hiking if you can use them fior hours without chafing.

you kinda got to watch your footing on rough gound if the trail is smooth you go fast. longest I was in these was 4 hours with no chafing just uses different mussels so it can ware you out fast

They're a fantastic thing to have on hard ground, going up or down hill as they ease the knee strain. But in my opinion, after numerous weeks spent out in the bush, they'll be completely pointless having them on going through that terrain. You'll achieve nothing other than a slow careful walk, and potentially falling over from catching them on a stick, rock or sinking into mud. It looked pretty sketchy when you were balancing over that small lip of dirt, above that big rocky ledge near the river. Good on you for giving it a go and videoing, but I wouldn't recommend it!Thanks

How good is the foot tactile sensation in them? Can still feel if the hardness of a rock, wood, the softness of the ground, the traction, the grip or slippery lack thereof of wet rocks, through the support when you walk?

Is it possible to get wider (foot) pads for these?- I ask because in my area (Florida Everglades) there are a lot of muddy patches and those narrow and small "feet" would sink right in. Other than that it would be a great way to increase my range stealthily to do some great birding.

Do these have your weight on your heels or your toe balls? I can’t tell. Can you shift your weight from toes to heel gaits and back and still get about the same springload performance? Can you still maneuver around on them if you wanted to walk heel first and would that help you get a bit more stability and stopping better/easier than on your toes? Can you move agilely, change directions still or are you stuck pretty much running in a straight line?
