@@tsbrownie Using them as a lure is a way of spreading them. They work great as a chicken or amphibian feed.

In asia it works for fishing not sure how it is in US or else I some times use them for a bait

@@zhoulingyu Please explain the reasoning behind them spreading, if they are eaten by a fish, or drowned in water? I'm genuinely curious to hear how you believe they would be spread by using them to fish.

We always called those "wiggle worms" in South Carolina. Hard as hech to put one on a fishing hook. Usually found just beneath decaying leaves.

I lived in NC for a while, never saw them there. In fact the first time I saw them was just last year. They are supposed to be an invasive species from Asia. But, if you can get them on a hook, are they good bait? Do the fish like them?

@@tsbrownie Not sure I ever suceeded in getting one hppked. I remember trying when I was young but after I realized how tough and fast they were I opted for common earthworms. I an sure that fish would absolutely love them. All fish in salt or fresh water will bite a worm.

Yes, there are many types of earthworms. This type originated in Asia and in the US it's considered an invasive species.
