I was 24 , came to Lago to meet with MKO to show him my business plan to further community concord into the campuses. He was very busy, He reached the airport, changed planes but called the office and asked someone to see me on his behalf. Am Igbo, with MKO there was no tribe, no religion but Nigeria and a human being. HE. MKO . His framed picture should adorn our Halls of Fame.

There is no justice in Nigeria.. Oduduwa nation will truly honour Mko Abiola. Hausa Fulani & Co will only use Mko Abiola for their political benefit. Well it was a good speach

He loved Hausa people and hated his people corruption, Mrs Awolowo told him he will never see the presidency, meaning he will never be president by saying in Yoruba language that MKO will be “sonroye” the Hausa people he loved dealt with him.

@@yomihenry8752, lol, and did Awolowo become the president? Awolowo was only loved by the Yorubas and Edo people whilst MKO was loved by Nigerians. This man won election in Kano State. Keep in mind that Tofa was from Kano. That speaks volume. Average Northerners loved him but some of their bourgeoisie never liked him. Some Yoruba leaders also sabotaged his efforts. Don't be too quick to put all the blame on Northerners. Some Yoruba people betrayed him as well. Mustapha mentioned some Yorubas that went to collect money in Aso-Rock soon as MKO passed away. Late Oba Sijuade and Falae were among the people he mentioned. I'm surprised Mrs Awolowo said that to MKO, because when her husband wanted to form alliance with NCNC, he was deceived to travel to Asaba to negotiate with NCNC in the aftermath of Dec 12, 1959 election. He never knew a faction of NCNC was in the North negotiating with Sardauna. The news broke out in the radio that NCNC and NPC had reached an agreement. He couldn't believe it. And this what Akintola was telling him all along but he never listened. MKO was widely accepted, unlike Awo. Awo was way more tribalistic than MKO.
