At Lyft, we're always working to best serve our driver community. In this video, three Lyft team members share news about coming app updates to improve the driver experience.
Could you please make it so passengers can only request rides for themselves? Too often people who are not the account holder are getting in my car. How do we know that they aren't someone who was kicked off the platform for vandalism, assault of a driver or something else? Sometimes I waste time driving to high schools to pick up passengers that are not over 18. They aren't supposed to be getting rides without an adult! It's a huge liability risk for drivers who accept and drive them around. I have to decline those rides and it's a waste of time/miles. Please do something about this if you really care about us. 😔

Barry Bamb It's not right that passengers could be anyone, but if a driver let's a friend use their account, they will be deactivated. Even if you just drive a rental car or a different car, they can deactivate you. Passengers can do whatever they want. Lyft doesn't seem to care about their driver's safety, only the passenger's.

I do and my rating went down DRASTICALLY from 5 star because of my acceptance rate. LYFT needs a HUB like Uber has so we can go in person to settle any grips we have or any monies owed to us.

Anne McCue I agree... especially in san francisco, the lyft LINE is not worth it at ALL....... even rides with 100% primetime have me driving in gridlock traffic for 30 minutes (we dont pick anyone else up), primetime is OVER by the time i drop them off, and i made a measly $7 because its san francisco and we drove like 2 miles. DECLINE ALL LYFT LINES. especially during primetime. If you want to waste your time and gas, by all means do lyft Line.

For reals Dude, I don't even accept Lyft Line Rides anymore lol It annoys me so much seeing on my phone that prices aren't being increased in my area and I get Lyft Line calls like really nigga? We already charge a super cheap price of 90 cents a mile and 15 cents a minute and you want cheaper? lol please fuck out of here, I get it that people are always looking to save money but these are the people who are going to end up ruining the industry. I once declined a Lyft Line ride only to have that same person call a regular ride where I picked him up and took him to his destination only to be paid less than $5,... Like,.. you were trying to not pay $5? and then even if we get paid the $5 we still don't get to keep all of that lol this whole Lyft thing is garbage now. Show less

Usually if you accept a ride that is 20 minutes away and start out the customer cancels it anyway, and you have driven 5 minutes towards your pick up.

I absolutely HATE accepting a ride from 10+ minutes away, then driving as fast as i can to pick them up, only to have them cancel on me halfway there... or worse yet, I get there and give them a $5 dollar ride.

Hi This is all great! Before I tell you my concern I must point to you my record of 5800+ rides with constant above average ratings and (pls knock on wood) not a scratch on my car. I noticed a new feature that changes my pickup while I'm on my way to one probably to match closer rider/driver the problem with that (same as adding a rider that we have to pick up first while going to the original first) is safety! A good driver should have 100% mental control on driving, an abrupt change of plan can happen and suddenly we have to change direction and lanes. Trying to make decisions while driving make the mental control weaker. A moment to look at the phone while waiting for the rider to come in or even after greeting in the rider is one of my best practices please keep that possible and avoid us app distractions . Thank you

The most important update you should put, in, go down from 25% you win, to at least 17%, because it is too much.

They don't take 25% of the gross. The $1.75 booking fee that they take all of means they take 42% of the gross for minimum rides and it only gets below 30% for rides over $20. Now that both companies use fixed prices, they are taking 50-80% of the gross over a typical week. They do this because, like Uber said, they need more money.

Any ride after midnight should be at least 25% primetime. I hate getting dragged out of hotspots right when it's about to get busy and then getting stuck in suburbia hell with countless $3.50 rides that take the passengers 4 minutes and 59 seconds to get in your car.

Please remove the LyftLine option OR make it worth it for drivers to accept such trips. As is, both you and Uber only pay the driver for total milage/time at a lower rate than normal. Not only that, but you do not even pay the driver for base fee of passengers beyond the 1st. The driver should be paid 1.5x while driving 2x fares(and 2.25x while driving 3x fares at once). You are charging each fare for total time/mileage and keeping the difference for yourselves, and that's not fair to the drivers at all. Both Uber and Lyft really need to increase the pay for time in Las Vegas as well. A driver earning $6.75/hr after lyft takes it cut is the reason I do not work into rush hour or the strip during high traffic hours. You should also consider adding a small fee for pickup/dropoffs at the airport since it does take the drivers more time to pickup/dropoff and get out of.

I have been using the scheduled pickup feature here in Los Angeles for 3 weeks now. I have woken up super early and driven 10+ miles and 20+ minutes to the scheduled pickup location (because the fair was about $60 each time so I figured it'd be worth it) and 50% of the time I have not gotten the request. This is due to me receiving another person's request, me ignoring it to receive the scheduled ride, only for the ride to not be on my que anymore. If we have a scheduled ride, we should be guaranteed the ride if we are at the person's pick up location on time. This is a great feature, but not being guaranteed the ride is a major flaw. Please help to fix this issue.

Scheduled rides are not worth it because you have to wait 20mins before just so that the ride request comes to you. And yes it is annoying that other requests are still coming in as you wait for your scheduled ride so I have ignored those requests and my acceptance rating has gone down significantly. This past Saturday it took me 2 hrs from beginning to end to take a rider to the airport when it should have taken 45mins tops! Not worth it!

I have used the scheduling and it can be beneficial when it works right. But I also use UZURV. It's a great way to drive regulars and the pax can pick their favorite driver. You also can communicate with the rider via the app. And works on both Uber and Lyft. If interested go to the app/play store, download Uzurv driver and use invitation code ridewithtracy

ericcruz9 as someone who had also used scheduled rides for about 2 weeks I can agree this happens! So far every scheduled ride has paid me the minimum of what was offered: if it said (16-32 dollars) you can bet I was getting 16 and not a dollar more. I found that I stayed in driver mode longer with fewer rides. Its BS that i stayed up till 4am to give someone a $40 or so dollar ride to the airport only to be given a ranfom request from someone else and then having thr scheduled ride dissapear! beyond frustrating... please dont bother wifh scheduled riders. of the 20 or so scheduled rides i did, almost all of them were very stuck up snobby people who had never heard of lyft before. one lady even waited in front of her car door WAITING for me to get out and open the door for her....... needless to say, all the scheduled rides caused my raiting to go down a little. not worth it. stay far far far far away.

Love driving Lyft no complaints other than the passive aggressive behavior. You guys go nuts when we don't accept rides that are far away; or if we have been waiting diligently in a prime time zone and are sent out of it. Please consider our need for higher earnings, and give us just a little slack on the cancellations by considering our perspective. Thank you.

I like the scheduled pick ups. The major thing I hate is the stupid square boxes randomly all over the city for the Hourly guarantee. The entire city should have this. Not sections all over the place. On a Friday or Saturday night, the entire city should boost. Also during any snow storm. Automatic boost. Should have nothing to do with more riders then drivers. It takes longer for the rides in snow, plus its dangerous.

the boost thing doesn't work. i did it the other night right after the game i accepted a lyft line by mistake. ( i don;t like lyft lines)anyway i drove around the stadium through the crowd to pick up to 4 people then i drove all the way to fisherman warf, the marina, golden gate bridge and finally 25th ave for just $18 minus 20% that lyft take so $14.40 left for me. totally not worth.

Two things I would like to see on the Lyft app: 1) Automatically start the countdown timer when the driver is relatively close to the passenger. Having to hit the "arrived button" and then ALSO having to hit "confirm arrival" is very distracting. 2) Eliminate all the steps the driver has to go through to see earnings. It takes 3-4 steps to see how much I REALLY have earned on a particular trip or for the day. I think I speak for most drivers when I say I like Lyft trips better than Uber because you didn't blatantly lie to your customers and tell them the tip was included in the fare when it isn't, but I feel the Uber driver app is much better. P.S.... Line needs some tweaks. First off, if we pick up a 2nd passenger and they're in a Prime Time area, we should get paid Prime Time! And if the 2nd passenger is a no-show, we should get the cancel fee. If we go to pick up a 2nd passenger and they don't show, we should be compensated, and they should feel some hit to their wallet so that next time, they'll be more courteous to not only their driver, but the other passenger(s) in the car

Product Reviews Those are great ideas for Line! I got a bonus for my first Line but also had a very bad experience with the same rider cancelling TWICE on me. The second time, I started a call to check and see if everything was OK when I had arrived and he cancelled the second time. I should have arrived then called -_-

1:08 - Thanks Lyft! A much needed update and a reason why drivers were going with the competition. This update alone has moved more of my rides to the Lyft platform. 1:45 - Scheduled rides are live here in Pittsburgh, a good way to see potential rides versus waiting online for a ride to come through.

Please update your destination filter. Let us have more control with it. We should be able to choose by direction, not specific routes. Make it so we can choose whatever we want. Like maybe I don't want to go north. I could choose south only or south and east or south east and west. Or make it like a half pie that we could point in any direction, that we can contract or expand. That way we have a better way of making it back home!

Why doesn't Lyft, like Uber does, charge a customer a fee after they cancel after the driver has been going to the destination for over 5 minutes. I live in an area where pick ups are usually 10-12 minutes away. It is frustrating to have the ride cancelled after you have driven 5-6 minutes toward your pick up. You just get a text saying your pick up has cancelled. At least Uber charges the customer a fee and the driver receives a minimal amount.

Same problem here in Hampton Roads area. Add to it the many tolls we have to pay, just to get to the passenger and it can sometimes cost us much more than wasted fuel and time. I suggest making the cut-off mark the "half-way" point, regardless of distance/time, and above the $5 cancellation fee, include any tolls we may have already paid.

Thanks for the new features! I was never sure when I was in the AHG zones with those low-rez maps before that had to be found and opened. Same with keeping track of what the hourly amounts were. Good updates! Great job on the video except for one thing: vertical video!!! :D

Lamont Bennie scheduled pickups are NOT worth it. I got offered several scheduled rides and my experience has been very negative with them. Payout was much lower than expected, and riders are horrendously inecperienced and more rude than usual. Typically my experience has been that someone scheduled a pick up for a family member or friend who expected red carpet bougie treatment and not your typical lyft. Scheduled pickups so far are not worth it if you ask me, I got paid less than normal even with BACK TO BACK scheduled pickups.

It would be nice to see the Actual Amount Earned on each ride versus the charged amount. I'm personally not interested in the charged amount, only what I'm getting. The prime time amount visibility is a great feature. I wonder how do I get the 100% fares when I'm in the zone. My friend has the scheduled ride feature on her app and I don't. We're both in Los Angeles and I generally dive more than her. I wonder how that feature was chosen to be added to drivers? I get great passengers on Lyft vs when I was driving Uber. Thanks!!

First, thank you for the improvements. I would like to see the Navigation system built into the application instead of a separate application opened up by itself (Google Map). The reason for this is that the whole user experience is a bit cumbersome with the way it currently works. This would be a great improvement. Thanks.

Smart Marketers great idea but that will just never happen. too much development time. also riders will likely be upset and assume lyft's version of gps is purposefully taking them on a longer more expensive route. I have had riders see the circular LYFT shortcut icon on my android phone, hovering over my normal google maps GPS and people mistakenly think its a custom LYFT version of gps and angrily ask me to use google maps and not lyft gps.

since I updated the lyft app - it freezes before I pick up the customer. I have to shut my phone off and turn it back on to see where I am taking them. the same thing when I drop them off. Help!

Scheduled pickups? Will the passengers be notified when they schedule, or shortly thereafter, a pickup that their driver has been scheduled? My daughter booked an airport trip with a limo service recently (Boston) because she couldn't get a verified pickup from Lyft and was worried she would be late or not picked up. As a customer as well as driver, I think it most important that our passengers feel confident that their pickup will occur at the time requested.

Tai Quality here's an email I wrote to lyft: Hi there, I feel like there's too much I have to do just to view trips breakdown while I'm driving considering the fact that I'm constantly on the wheels. I think it'd be better if everything you have to open the dashboard via a web browser should be incorporated in the app and mad in such a way you can see with very little taps. Also, I hate that fact that you have to tap on the screen twice every time either to confirm arrival or to confirm pickup or to confirm drop-off, all these are annoying. Make it one tap per action. I don't have time to be tapping on my phone everytime, it forces me to lose focus. Also, when a trip gets canceled, I need to be able to see details about the canceled trip in the app. These are sent of the things that keeps you going. Because I'm not about to drive 5miles to pick up a rider just to be 500feet away to pick them up just for them to cancel the trip and I don't even know if I just wasted my time and gas or if I got a compensation for that. Please improve on your app. Thank you for your understanding.

they really dont care about driver we are just their pawns so they can make more money all these complaints i see in the comments ppl have been complaining about forever and nothing is done. they dont care cuz they have plenty of pawns waiting to take ur place when u quit. so really all these complaints go in one ear out other because if they actually did the things for us it mean less for them. they are getting rich off the drivers back while we barely make enough to cover our expenses. they are pretty much friendlier version of uber screw the ppl who made them us the drivers. because they have plenty to take our place and they know this so they will never do anything to take care of drivers or our concerns

roy hollingshead Not only that, Lyft truly don't care for the driver. Try not to be a victim of any kinds while driving for Lyft. I was robbed and carjacking by Lyft passengers at gun point. It's nearly 1 month by now. Lyft blocked me since then I can't drive anymore. I never hear from the since the week I reported the incident. Be safe out there....

Agree! This also happened to me when I picked up a hearing impaired passenger. On another ride, I called a passenger I was having trouble locating and asked her if she could see my car. She responded, "I'm blind." Lyft needs to be more accommodating to passengers with disabilities if it wants drivers to be sensitive to disabled passengers. So, LYFT, please update the Lyft app to solve this problem!

Keep updates coming. I like the new update where a customer can pay $3 to add more time at pick up. Idea - I believe the lyft app GPS can tell when I am driving or stopped during a ride.?. So when a rider asks to make a stop on the way, the app should recognize I have stopped during the ride. And when that stop gets over a certain time, like 5 minutes when my car hasn't moved a foot, the app should automatically pop up for the driver asking if the stop is a traffic delay like an accident or a train, etc., or by passenger request. If the driver clicks passenger, then the passenger gets a notification to add time for a fee for the driver to wait longer, just like at pickup, or if they decline to pay the wait time fee, the driver is notified and can either continue the ride, or end the ride. This also needs to popup during a 1 or 2 stop request ride so the driver can end if it the rider takes a long time during the requested stop.

What you guys should do especially, is take the damn lyft line out of airports. Why the hell would a passenger with 3 suit cases request a lyft line on a standard lyft vehicle (mines a hyundai 2016) knowing damn well another airport passenger can request me, and they to may have tons of luggage. Its so stupid and a waste of time to cancel. Especially at laguardia airport in NY.

How about listing the updates and bug patches in the app update "what's new" section instead of using boiler plate language in the new driver app and the dumb updates pop up window that uses up screen real estate? If you are still wanting to include those updates in the app, list it under settings and list the number behind the drivers avatar in the main screen where it doesn't take up space. Also, can you not film these videos in portrait and be more professional in doing it in landscape instead?

I understand the pop up ads are an additional revenue stream for Lyft, but the driver should be able to turn them off if they are a distraction. I promise you LYFT is a court case away if a driver complains about the ad distraction. I know the LYFT's solution is to only show the ads while the auto isn't in motion, but distracted driving is distracted driving.

Wally Babbidge there no pop up ads in the Lyft app. There is an update section on the main window for the driver app that takes up space on the bottom edge. To access it, you must swipe up to have it "pop up". Aside from it taking up screen real estate, the users motion might invoke the iOS behavior that does a similar thing invoking the control center.

Actually Milly ads do appear on the top half of the Waze map. I know them as pop up ads. WAZE or LYFT may have another name for them. Landing Pages, Directional Pages, Display Ads etc.. The fact is they are there. I'm surprised you were unaware of googles practices. They now allow 300 by 250 pix ads to appear on mobile. research it if you don't believe me.

One additional comment saying that LYFT doesn't have pop ups is correct, but your WAZE ap you use for directions does have ads that appear on top of the WAZE app

Upgrades sound good. "Selected markets" always bumps me :-) I know you don't control everything, like Google maps, but a couple of things that make me a little crazy are (I hope I'm not limited to 140 characters :-): 1) A high percentage of pings for a ride seem to occur after I have passed the point where I should have turned. It's like the system is behind me all the time. 2) With Maps, this "finding the best route" thing seems to take forever to get organized. If I sit still waiting, it has no idea what direction I am pointing, and can't give me good data until I start moving and I'd guess over half the time I have to turn around and go the other direction. Would be nice if there was a way for the system to know I'm pointing north or south, or whatever. Does my phone (ZTE Max) affect the speed of the system? I'm thinking I might convince my wife I need a new phone. :-) 3) And my third whine is about passengers entering better data for the pickup. Again, I know that's hard to control but I had one today that I'm pretty sure didn't know where she was and put in a bad pickup address. Specifically, it was in Bellevue WA. The address was 10032 Main St. I rolled up to 10038 (space to pull over for the pickup) and waited - nothing happened. Finally, the ride called and said she couldn't see me. I said I should only be about 4 doors west of her. She didn't know which way was west, so I told here I was in front of Gilberts (a restaurant at 10038 Main). She didn't know where Gilbert's was. She said something about a Sherwin Williams store and I'm pretty sure there are none of those in that particular area. I turned and cruised down the street looking for her, and she canceled the ride. 4) I'm pretty sure there is other stuff, but can't think of it for now, so thanks for listening.

I have had a couple of rides where the passenger had numerous stops. We get around the two stop limit, by simply changing the final destination as we approach that stop. Is there any thought about allowing unlimited stops to the app?

i never see the opt in feature and the zones are not communicated well. also as far as the scheduled pick ups feature ( live or not) why would i drive 20 minutes away for a 4 minute drive??

1) add a feature where I can be requested as a driver. I get multiple requests to be personal driver for the same ppl. 2) when opted into scheduled pickup no other requests should be allowed to pop up when I'm online, multiple times ive had to deny requests and effect my acceptance rate while waiting for my scheduled pickup.

This is BS. I am SO UNHAPPY with Lyft right now and am being totally ignored. I have written them multiple times and missed almost 2 weeks of income because of their bonus areas disappearing but I did a few rides, which I picked up in the bonus areas since I have them remembered from previous weeks, and just as expected, they never compensated me the difference between the regular fare and the % I was promised. Again, I go ignored for days/weeks. Also regarding scheduled rides, it is live, but when I look at the list, they show the time of the pick up but there is NO ADDRESS, NO MAP...NOTHING..If I accept the scheduled ride, how the heck do I know what area I need to be in. LYFT has so much to do, technology wise to make this 5 star driver happy and to drive with them again. Thank goodness I drive for both Uber and Lyft, and since Lyft has not remidied my serious inquries, I drove with Uber since these problems started and Uber is so over the moon at my, again, 5 start performance, so all Lyft is doing by ignoring the problems I am having is handing money to Uber. I used to LOVE LYFT, but the true colors are showing now. I deserve the difference of the fares for the % areas I drove in, but the outline and the "ACTIVE" word never appeared. I can post every single email I sent them, to no avail!!!!!! OH, MY BIGGEST GRIPES ARE LYFT LINES AND THE FACT YOU DO NOT PUT THE DESTINATION!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO HAVE TO ASK A PASSENGER TO LEAVE YOUR CAR BECAUSE YOU DO NOT GET PAID TO DRIVE THE 2.5 HOURS THEY NEED TO GO TO LONG ISLAND??? SHOW US THE DESTINATION IN THE BEGINNING SO WE HAVE A CHOICE ON WHAT RIDES TO ACCEPT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF TLC LICENSE HOLDERS THAT WILL GLADLY TAKE THOSE TRIPS. I WILL NOT PICK UP LYFT LINES SO STOP SENDING THEM TO ME. LYFT ARE THE ONLY ONES MAKING MONEY OFF OF THESE RIDES..MY ACCEPTANCE RATE IS SO LOW BECAUSE I LET LYFT LINE REQUESTS JUST GO TO THE NEXT PERSON. SO MANY THINGS ARE A MESS AND I HAVE WRITTEN YOU FOR 6 MONTHS AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Sorry one more gripe...When a ride comes in, we have NO IDEA where it is...All you show is a measly street name, but we have NO IDEA how far it is, or even what city it is in because the map above the ticking 15 second area, cannot be scrolled on or anything therefore, when we press accept, it shows 27 mins. away, and of course I cancel, and my rating goes down. You need to be MUCH more clear on pick ups. Uber shows how many miles and how long it will take to pick up each passenger BEFORE we press accept and Lyft needs to do the same thing.

Have the app ever went straight to dropping customer off after the count down? Something that they added in this new app was, if this happens you can cancel the ride without it counting against your acceptance rate. It just ask you if the person was there or not. If you say no it ask you if you want to cancel ride and by accepting it it does not count against you.

The hourly guarantee is garbage. I drove around in a fully pink primetime area on Saturday night for over an hour. This is in Orange County, CA (7th most populous county in America, home of Newport, Laguna, and Huntington Beach, Disneyland, etc.) I didn't get *one single ride* in this supposed "high demand primetime area". Wasted a prime hour of my life + gas and was "Guaranteed $25" but got a grand total of $0 (really, in the negative due to wasted gas)

The "Hourly Guarantees feature" needs some work. My biggest issue with it is the ride minimum. I understand it's only a one ride minimum, but we don't get to control our ride requests. I was on the clock for the full hour of a guaranteed hour and drove from one end of my city to another. Finally got a ride request in the last four minutes of the hour (which wouldn't have been enough time to complete the ride anyway) and the ride request cancelled. So, I met the 50 minute in driver mode and was in the correct zone, but only one ride request came through at the end of the hour and then it was cancelled. If we can't control the ride requests, why have a minimum ride requirement. KEEP the "in driver mode" requirement, but nix the ride requirement.

Get rid of "Average Hourly Guarantees" because it's false advertising. Some areas I found it hard to get two rides in the hour (I live in NJ) and after Lyft takes their share it's only 75% of that "guarantees".

If I ever ask a friend to give me a ride somewhere, I always offer them at least $5. Why on earth does Lyft allow $4 rides??!! I've actually driven 16 minutes to give a rider a ride down the block to a 7-11, because they didn't want to walk in the rain. $4 for 20 minutes of my time, not to mention my fuel. Hardly worth it. Oh well, at least it added toward my totals for the bonuses, right?

attention all lyft drivers never picks schedule ride when you see there is searching in where you are.because you not gonna get search time money.let me tell you my story i was in san Francisco at Hilton hotel and search was 250 percent and i got schedule call from riders when i picked her and dropped her at SFO i didn't get paid seach time price when i did contact to the lyft help center they told me the rider scheduled her ride 8pm there was no search time so that's why you didn't get paid search time money.i was %100 sure when i picked her there was prime time but she schedule her ride 8pm so i didn't get any extra shit....so never pick any schedule ride when you see there is search time in your area and you get call from schedule ride.i hope this gonna help for hard working drivers.thanks

Seeing where other lyft drivers are and are not was the most important feature of the passenger app and it has been removed with todays update. I need that back! Passenger app also no longer focuses on your location it simply zooms out to show the whole city when you press the compass button. I hope they fix this

In my opinion, the new driver Lyft app..sucks or isn't working right. I've had 3 scheduled rides since yesterday, that I haven't been able to take. I go online at the time it says , go online to accept ride and the rides disappear and never let me even accept the ride, when shows them scheduled in my pickups. Once last night and 2 today. I deleted the driver app and went back to the normal Lyft app now, I'll see what happens over the weekend. If I can accept and get scheduled rides! Plus, it keeps saying... poor connectivity, when there's nothing wrong with my signal.

As a current lyft driver who is leaning towards going back to Uber, my only complaint is the $50 minimum before you can deposit. With Uber I can deposit whenever I want (the 50 cent fee applies each time though) and this is very helpful for when I just want to drive for a short while and don't have time to drive longer, but could still use the extra twenty or thirty bucks. Besides that, I've had no issues and love lyft so far.

How about showing the real "guaranteed" amount after Lyft fees? Getting promised $440 after 35 rides then receiving close to $300 was really discouraging. Especially after I Lyfted after work to get those rides.

The average hourly guarantees are not guarantees. If you have to do x in order to receive it, it's not a guarantee. Here's a tip, be Lyft not Uber.

I had bad experience with scheduled pick up, after i drop off a rider, got one not to far away, went to pick rider up n was lil confusing, waited few minutes for rider, as soon as i was gonna cancel she came out, n said she scheduled pick up like 1 week earlier,, n it actually had the time for me that, i arrived to destination,n i was 3 minutes earlier, so she had from 1 time to another , for me to wait for her after i arrived, honestly for me anything over 4 minutes is alot to wait in car

good comment and the writing could be better. WHY take a paragraph explaining something that could be explained in one sentence. The background music is a creative indulgence that does nothing for the viewer. As a new driver I'd like to know the features of Prime Time. Graphics and links to Lyft web pages would be better than the talking heads.

Hello, I drive for lyft but there is something that is happening and the company may not be aware of this and it is with the power driver Bonus, which is impossible to complete because the company does not give you enough trips to complete That goal, I work in tampa florida and lately tried in all places but the company does not provide me more trips to complete, I am driving full time but I think there are already many drivers and I really could not complete this goal Of average hours for lack of travel.

Lyft was my 1st intro to ridesharing app driving & the 1st to screw me over just 2 1/2 weeks after starting. A few months later I checked back with their robot monkeys (the same ones must work for Uber support) & one told me the only thing they could see stopping me from driving was vehicle updates. The next day I drove 30 min to the dealer to get the safety check done, waiting half an hour, emailing my new docs, waiting...waiting...waiting...emailing....waiting...waiting...emailing...finally getting the SAME DAMN CANNED RESPONSE I GOT REGARDING DEACTIVATION and NO FKN apology for wasting my time & money! I was a new driver & kicked off for low ratings. Lyft just throws you out there not telling you a thing (what phone is recommended - you need to discover that yourself by accident in their knowledge base 2 weeks later - I was having navigation issues with a cheap free phone). Agents kept telling me every time I asked about ratings to basically not worry about it (even the help pages stated that new drivers had more leniency). LIARS! Thank you Lyft for "firing" me the day after Xmas without due process! Not one robot agent would admit their errors or bring in a supervisor to contact me that could speak in conversational English. Once Lyft puts in an office in Los Angeles county I sure am going to be there to show them their errors. Their own tickets/emails convict themselves.

I drive in the Memphis Tn area, we border West Memphis Arkansas with the dog track and Tunica Ms with the casinos but you've cut them off, why? We can take the people there but not go pick them up from the 2 major places around Memphis that actually need rides home so they aren't driving intoxicated. The service use to extend to those areas, why cut it off? Bc we'd make more money bc it's further so you would make more money off of us.. You seriously need to start pickups back in those areas!!!

one - one should be able to opt out of shared rides because riders do lie about your performance for serveral reasons(not being dropped off 1st and not going to the drop off the way theyre use to going, also them saying they navigate you that you dont know where youre going) also they should not be able to rate your rides because theyll lie for the same reasons. two - when doing a ride (shared or otherwise) you should be able to sign off -- complete the ride right then--lost fares twice because of this

I've sat in the airport queue at Norfolk Int Airport for over an hour (and I was "next in queue") with no rides, while Uber is taking rides constantly. If you're going to limit me to airport requests when I'm in queue, then you should guarantee me at least $10/hr, since I'm missing out on outside requests. If you don't want to guarantee me an hourly rate while I sit in queue, then at least allow me to take requests from outside.

When a customer puts in the address they are going to you have the THE WORST predictive location choices. If you are in Santa Monica and you want to go to Nordstroms it should not suggest Nordstorms in New York. It needs to be location based. The Uber app you only have to type 2 letters and it works it out for you.

You offer incentives to drivers who drive the least amount of time for you and not to the drivers with the highest ratings or longevity. No wonder there's so much churn in drivers. My lyft app has been off for a long time now

Passengers schedule rides because they're realizing prime time doesn't effect their total. Please fix since we should not be picking passengers up during prime time and not being paid for such.
