What a larger than life lady! Velvet tones, perfect expression, tremendous fun. She enhanced life and provided unbounded pleasure to so many in the 1960s. I saw her about five times in 'Robert & Elizabeth' and did so enjoy her on record in 'Orpheus in the Underworld'. How lovely it would have been to know her. Impish, enchanting, exciting and inspiring.

When you see June Bronhill performing, she is such a formidable, overwhelming talent it's hard to imagine what total fun she is. It's impossible not to fall in love with her.

I was in the London production of Robert and Elisabeth and remember her wonderful performance with Keith Michel. I married the composer of the music but sadly never saw June again therefore it was magical to see and hear her wonderful voice again thank you so very much .

Wonderful June. Zero out of 10 to the producer of this production though as they cut short her rendition of Vilia at the end of program. What a pity. Thanks for uploading.

I saw June on stage only once(sadly) in a performance of The Merry Widow in London)I have seen The Widow before, and since, but have never heard(and seen) a more perfect Hanna Glawari. Vocally she was ideally cast, and had the looks and personality to match.

I love to watch the way the previous generation + 1 reacted to each other, a different time and such a reverence. It is lost these days tho in a way it does live thru the GRANDE theatre now. It's beautiful, it's kinda British I s'pose. I love it. The public face.

IN light of what we now know about the way MEN have treated WOMEN in showbiz and other places, a couple of the reunions make me wonder if anyone ever harmed our June, but she as a true stalwart goes on as the beautiful diva she was.

Used to see June many times on TV before her health deteriorated. Always such a vivacious lady with a bubbly personality. She was a national treasure. May she RIP.

Wonderful to see and hear this. I once met her here in the UK. She was very warm and delightful. Sorely missed but she lives on in her many recordings. Thank you for posting this and thank you June. X
