The last time Dale Jr won at a track less than 2 miles was the April Richmond race of 2006. How many people would had believed that at a certain point late in the season, he would have more wins than Jimmie?

Had Jr not had a flat tire while leading a few races back and then at charlotte having transmission shifter issues and running out of gas issues, then at Dega getting spun by biffle he would've made it into this round easy by his perfect performance. Jr led in every race the last eliminator round. Had he never had bad luck or idiots spinning him he would've made it to the next one easy and then winning today at martinsville he'd of been automatically locked into homestead for the championship. Bad luck and assholes on the track spinning him cost Jr a chance at it all. Oh well, getting Johnson's past 5 straight championship lead engineer for a crew chief next year will give Jr the extra power and goods to own everyone next season. I can't wait!

Dale Jr. went to my high school for a meet and greet and Q&A and I asked him in front of half the school "with the amount of wins you have already (4) which tracks do you feel you have the best chance of winning at?" his response was "I really want to win at Martinsville, I grew up with a bunch of grandfather clocks in my house from my dad winning a lot, I feel really good about this Martinsville race and I believe I can win it" the best feeling for me was that he went and won at Martinsville like he told me

This sport still rewards consistency as well as wins, if not more. Look at Chase Elliott this year. No wins but made it to the round of 8, and could've very well made the final 4 still. Take care of your car, finish well, and you can very well win a championship without winning a race.

I love the fact that there were no rivalry between Gordon fans and Earnhardt Jr. fans. I witnessed alot of times people root for Earnhardt Jr. If Jeff was wrecked. And I witnessed Earnhardt Jr fans rooting for Jeff when Earnhardt was wrecked. Also Earnhardt Jr wasnt noticed like he should have been for helping Jimmie and Gordon out on the track many times. Even losing positions slowing others to get Jimmie the advantage to pull away. One heck of a team was Gordan, Johnson and Earnhardt Jr.

This year Jrs won 4 races already and been the class of the field almost all year long and I wonder what Stewart has to say now? Tony has been beat by Jr for cup wins so many times I've lost count lol. Jr really owned tony's ass at Michigan 2012. Hell Jr stormed past his slow ass to win in style under green by 6 seconds. Yup, Jr sucks alright huh TONY! WTF EVER DUDE! You just mad Jr beats yo whiny ass at the end of races. LOL.
