When you said, "You know me... we'll make this more special." Yes, indeed dear Luise, you make ***everything*** more special 👏🤗. You warm my heart and inspire my spirit well beyond your beautiful art 🦋💐🦋. So much encouragement, excitement and companionship feeling. These buttons are fantastic and so many imaginative variations. Love them all but I think I like the "short, dingely, dangely thingy" with the cute little owl the best.🦉 More happiness in store as I am off to watch the German video. Thank you so much and stay safe, happy and healthy!!!!

To paint things like the buttons, put a piece of painter's tape or masking tape down, fold the ends under so the sticky side is up. Put the objects to be painted on the tape, paint. When dry, just peel them off. Love the idea of using napkins on the buttons!

The buttons are beautiful. Try using I pins used in jewelry making to attack the red bead. They come with stop or hoop on the bottom and you put the bead on it. Shorten if needed and make a hoop on the end and then all you have to do is attach it to the chain.
