My 6 year old son was snuggling with me this morning asI was watching this. He loves that I make journals. He was completely enthralled in learning how to make flip card. Thank you for sharing and entertaining a kiddo who is too excited for Christmas! Hugs from New Mexico!

Simply way too much fun to start my day! Your comments and how easily your "go with the flow" through every project you display keep me smiling and inspiring me to - pardon the "frozen" reference - Let It Go! Great tip on hiding bluebirds too - I'm the worse stamper I know so now I mat get a passing grade in my own mind. I can see using this as a glued in on a journal page quite nicely. Loved it.

So clever and so much fun! For once I actually have the book pages to reuse so, I figured it was about time I did something with the field guides I have from all the different states/regions in which I’ve lived. What’s up with the fact though that each field guide only faces their illustrations in one direction? No birdie beaks going different ways in the same book!

Zsuz??? This may help your husband Zsa Zsa could zsuz like no other! I do love this idea! Oh--a totally different application--I am going to stack about five of these to make for story/drawing prompt for kids. Top tier each page will have a intro reference, middle tier noun and an action, bottom tier noun. Ex: The Day (top), Dad ate (middle), Mom's purple hat. Next insert may say Remember when (top), ants invaded (middle), the wedding cake (bottom). Repeat format like this for each of the 5 pages-- then the kids can flip different tiers and all over and have numerous story/drawing prompts to complete. If my math is right this will give 125 different prompts (but my math comes and goes, especially once I am out of fingers and toes). Thank you!

FYI if you go on Amazon - look up "Oral Mouth Swabs". An inexpensive version of the dauber for inking. I've also seen those triangle shaped make up sponges used. Pam also made one out of a sponge glued to an old thread spool. She's all in favor of "using what you have". I love that!
