The amount of care you put into the design is really fantastic. Not only did you make the River Adventure fit within the design aesthetics of the first film (and nailed bringing the concept art to life) but you also put a lot of care into making it feel like a real theme park attraction. Kudos!

Dude... I wasn't even playing the game and as soon as the TRex was chasing the Jeep, my skin was crawling and I was screaming DRIIIIVE fromthe comfort of my chair! Haha Sooo good! Like, how have the license holders not made a T-Rex chase experience in a game yet? That part alone was iconic for the film series. Just that part is a golden concept, albeit what should only amount to a small part of a bigger game, but I think it would be something you have to do a few times, in a more open world style of game. I think now is the time to make the best JP game that ever existed, beside the Lost World on PS1. Hard to beat playing as all the dinos! Amazed they never made a remake of that game, but I imagine licensing of past IPs in the hands of another studio is a bitch!

Thanks! The evolution of the Rex game was “the story mode needs a Rex chase, let’s develop the gameplay and put it in the demo. Rex is chasing the Jeep, but what do we do? Repair some motion sensors! Someone FINALLY got it right. This is what I wish trespasser was more similar to, as well. There’s no way that only JUST now, someone could make a proper Jurassic Park game, with how successful the franchise is. So much potential and yet no one else could get it right since 1993, and it took one fan making an unlicensed game using a $40 PlayStation 4 game almost 30 YEARS LATER. That’s INSANE! Only this creator can be trusted with the creation of these games. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been dying (so to speak) for a game like this, in which you can explore the island post-Isla Nublar incident. This movie still scares me, even at age 24 and it’s a shame that there haven’t been as many successful games that capture the terror of being stuck on an island with escaped genetically engineered dinosaurs, many of which hunting you and ready to kill you at any given moment. The creator is awesome and I can’t wait to see what they make next.

I was genuinely at the edge of my chair during the River Adventure ride part, I thought there were going to be raptors or something was gonna jump out at you. I almost wonder if it's better if nothing does, just to keep you on edge and trick you, but what if the ride was partially broken, run down? Like, wires hanging, sparks here and there, something more unsettling, especially during the cave section where it's dark. It would be even more awesome if as a part of the campaign, you had to get on boat to reach a place for an objective, and in a dark cave (dimly lit by lights or a flare, there's a metal door with bars, velociraptors trying to force it open to kill you, but can't. Sort of a semi-nod to the mine scene in Jurassic World: Dominion. I thought that part of the movie would make a great level in a game, or inspire something along those lines. Peter Jackson's King Kong game would inspire some good levels too. Great job with all this so far, can't wait for the beta preview!

Thanks! There’s more to the river ride. This video was posted to show one of the devs everything working together while they had to leave for a few months. That’s why I take my time through the menu so much. We made the demo to develop gameplay ideas. But, the new version will not be shown off until it releases. This will launch first, then we’re onto the single player game now that we’ve developed most of the assets we need and found our art style.

Media Molecule and Sony could rewrite gaming and make more Boatloads of money by doing 3 little things. 1) Bring Dreams to PC. 2) Allow the game, music, and animation to run standalone. 3) Licence charge 10-20% of all sales, no upfront fees. To stop copycatting, all builds must have public demos of the completed game before launch, and then they are voted on as to go to market or not buy the public.

I really wish we could do that. It’s a big thorn in my side and one of the limitations of dreams. You can only have one active camera at a time and there’s no ray tracing. It’s possible, sort of. There’d have to be a separate Rex and terrain that only shows through each mirror and that eats up too many resources. One rex takes up a little under 20% of resources. It’s one of the many reasons I’m moving over to pc after this is completed.

Is this fan made or official? These are my takes on what needs changing when there's it's out of Beta. Some of the camera movements could do with smoothing out, they're too stiff and unnatural. The car seems like it's driving on a super flat surface and looks more like it's hovering, needs some camera shake or something as the air freshener doesn't quite cut it. The water when on the water ride needs some transparency, it looks like blue soup.
