What do you think of this case compared to the ZZAW C4? I don't know which one to get because I have AIO cooler but C2p is less volume and I can just get air cooler instead.
@masterbamboo
2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on what you'd prefer to have: C4 has better cable management options, and can fit a 240 AIO. Side panels are vented so more cold air can be allocated. C2P is smaller, can only fit 2 x 12cm fans at the top, and air cooling only unless you go with a 120mm rad. It's simpler, less ventilated. If you have a larger GPU and huge PSU, go with C4, if your PSU size is 140x150x86, and GPU is somewhat smaller, C2P is awesome.

How's the build quality on this? I've been using my ZZAW C3 for a few months now and the TG & mesh of the panel doesn't line up anymore and there's a small gap. Seems like the mesh part of the side panel is slightly warped now :(
@masterbamboo

My C3 had glass panel issue(mainly the glue slips off with heat). I sent the manufacture a note about it. They said they are looking into either a fix or upgrade to the case. I suspect your C3 is the same - remove the glass panel and inspect the glue strip. The C2/C4/C2P doesn't have that chemical bonding, all screw-ons, so no issue observed so far.

@masterbamboo
Жыл бұрын
Hi, the ZZAW Z4 will be a better candidate for the 1080ti gaming x + 150mm PSU due to the PSU size AND over-sized height with that card. I'd also double check if the height is an issue for the case. From the photo it looks like it might be too tall.
@yw.f4n

@@masterbamboo Thanks for the reply. The card's height is 140mm, which is larger than both the c4 and c2p's limits. The c3 has a larger gpu height, would you recommend it? Otherwise I'll go for something larger like sama im01 or jonsbo d30 instead.

@@yw.f4n If the card is determined, then other cases are preferred. They just released C3P, which is much nicer than C3. Though it's huge compare to C2/C4/C2P. The other 2 cases are good choices too, though D30 is rather large. SEMA IM01 is neat in size, I prefer SEMA over Jonsbo.

@masterbamboo
Жыл бұрын
There's usually a common measurement difference there - some GPU manufactures provides the GPU length with the PCI slot bend, and some doesn't while PC case manufactures can only provide the worst case scenario. Same thing with the "over shoulder height" which describes how much height is the GPU over the PCI limit, which is another common issue with 30 series GPUS and newer. Some manufactures provides the height with PCI goldfinger, some only specifies the cooler height.

Sorry I didn't think twice before posting the last comment. The very original comment was a long time ago. In short, the mentioed Waifu 6700xt card will fit just fine. The longer version of explaination follows: There is measurement difference between case manufactures and GPU manufactures. Case manufactures likes to refer the "height" measurement from PCB bottom to cooler top; but GPU manufcture jumps from bottom of PCB to PCI slot bottom and all the time, never the same. So for Waifu 6700XT's mearesument, it is 139mm - 120mm = 19mm over shoulder height, meaning the cooler is about 19mm above the PCI slot bend. The ZZAW C2P supports the over should height of 31mm, (106mm + 31mm = 137mm) vs (106 + 19mm = 125mm) which works fine. Sorry for the confusion, this should clear it up. @@kic2009
