2:05 Nice shot of a former Wabash caboose. Seems like N&W didn't keep (or put up with) their U boats as long as other railroads did. But it made for interesting locomotive consists.

The G.E. high hoods are certainly an interesting design I personally prefer the E.M.D. ones, but the G.E. ones seem a bit unique

The Southern Railway was a totally separate entity from the Norfolk and Western. It was never "a part of the N&W". The two merged in 1982 to form the current day Norfolk Southern
