Even a domestic dog can still bite. If you're not paying attention to the animal's body language what might be intended to be a warning "knock it off" could easily leave you in the hospital. but the difference is the size and force of the animal, aswell as the chance. domestic dogs and cats in most cases bred over throusands of generations to be friendlier, and smaller than that of a wolf or a big cat. so the chance of attack is lower as well as the danger of said attack
@naominagler7290

Exactly, on the domesticated part of it. My cat, who I have had since he was 18 years old (he is now 24). He was a street or feral, car until he was taken to the shelter when he was 16. At least that's how old they think he was. Throughout the time that I have had him I have found out that he will not be "domesticated". He is still a wild cat. He fights for his food and affection. The first time I rescued him for some teens who were trying to pet him after he ran out of a hotel room I had, he bit through my nose piercing and tore my nostril in half. After that, I made it clear that I am the pride leader and he is not to mess with me. He will growl at me and show his teeth so I know that I am annoying him, so I will let him be after that. It was painful and bloody but I made it clear that unless he is in extreme pain, I will not tolerate that kind of behavior.

@@daniel.s.stefanov well if the theory of evolution is right like Charle's Darwin said it was and we really did come from apes its entirely possible we are just naturally chaotic creatures and if that is the case the main goal would be finding why we are chaotic, but we will never truly know. We kill, we bleed, we murder, we steal, lie, etc. And than wonder why we do it and it all dates back too when you were infant and you opened your eyes for the first time and you either got hate and disgust for the rest of your life or love and affection. That's what makes the difference between a ticking time bomb or a calm gestured man or woman or cat creature. That's usually the neurotypical experience anyways. The "weirdos" as society calls them usually look at the neurotypicals like they are the insane ones. Not all "weirdos" are actually sane though just keep that in mind. Don't approach me or my weird kind we will give your baby crack. Anyways ya not only did we divide ourselves by the color of our skin we were born with, we proceeded too objectify and destroy anyone who had a different opinion than us. It is absolutely despicable and trust me most of them did not look sane. Anyways I could go on and on about how humans disappoint each other all the time it would be worthless, point is its entirely possible.

Its all about reading their body language on top of their vocalizations and respecting it. Basic respect goes a long way with animals, wild or domestic.
@Nika44
Жыл бұрын
True, and there is not that much of this "feral instinct" that people like to blame when animal attacks. Honestly if you will push fully domesticated, big dog to the edge, you will annoy them, they will attack and possibly kill you. Wild animals are just not as used to us as domesticated or tamed animals are, and they react quicker. For example, my dog won't normally attack you but she won't let random person enter my garden, and even family members that are not living with us,needs to respect her personal space. She needs to meet you, smell you, and when she wants to be left alone, guests have to respect that - although she prefers to sit with people :D Point is, all animals have some level of patience, and we need to respect their personal space. Otherwise, well they may feel cornered and pushed to the limit, even a budgie will attack, even dog will, even cat will.

And still understand that they are still wild animals 💯❤️ In California we owned a wolf. The neighbor didn't like it called the spca thinking we couldn't own a wolf.😂 my father showed his native registration ❤ and they apologized and walked away. Our wolf protected us kids like we were her pups❤ well one day our ball went into the neighbors front yard. And the man yelled at us and our wolf jumped and attacked the jerk. We didn't have to put her down thank God. But we had to take her to the wild (mountains) and set her free. 😢 Wolfs are amazing spirits but yes no matter what they are still naturally wild❤
