🙋🏿♀️Hello Fumi and Christina😊 I ABSOLUTELY ❤LOVE your Channel, Fumi. I'm 55 will be 56 in 2 weeks. I really feel what you are talking about. Wanted to ask if Christina sees a Rheumatologist for the Fibromyalgia? I suffer from it; my ears perked up when y'all mentioned the word INFLAMMATION. 👉🏿 Please tell Christina to have a second opinion on her medical condition. I not only have Fibromyalgia; but also Lupus. (My hair has fallen out...) Lupus will cause one to become inflamed internally & externally. Fibromyalgia does come with Lupus as a secondary condition. Fibromyalgia has more muscle pain & soreness without inflammation. One Love ❤🤗 Fumi & Christina.

I was diagnosed with CCCA ALOPECIA …. My follicles are scared… my edges and my crown….I have hair on the sides and the back, however it continues to fall out. The Dermatologist stated that those will never come back, and even if I used any form of hair growth treatment it will grow and fall out! There is no cure. So when you have lemons you make lemonade. I don’t know whether I will shave it all off and continue to wear wigs… idk. At this stage in my life I feel sooo incomplete at 63 a woman’s hair is her crown. I know hair doesn’t have anything regarding me as a decent human being, but society can be very cruel especially in this social media era. God Bless you and Christina and I PRAY all the best for you and your hair journey. ✝️🛐🙏🏽🥰

As an African Ghanaian 🇬🇭, I always wished someone will suggest to the Nigerian and Ghanaian movie industry to try to incorporate beautiful natural hair into their production to make an awareness that it is possible for us as Black women to also have beautiful hair. Since the movie industry has become such an influence to the world...I believe promoting natural hair and letting go of wigs will be an uplifting image for we Black women as a whole. Fumi you have brought information to your community that is needed here in the USA. I started to loose my hair back in 2019, and went on my own research to get to the root cause. During the pandemic I learned of three individuals here in NYC that are Trichologist, two caucasian nurses and two Africian Americans, the problem is not enough availability of appointments and its expensive. I recently saw aTV commerical for a hair salon in Brooklyn offereing Trichology services. My visit to her salon was worth it. She is knowledgeable about root cause of hair lost, can identify the type of alopecia and advised (not diagnosed) on what could be the possible health related condition associated with the hair lost. She also has her own line of hair products. I am sharing this with everybody for its time for us Women to know the facts. Our hair is our beauty and we as Black women no longer have to suffer. I also learned of a sister in Tennessee who is Trichologist offer the same services that you just shared. Thanks Fumi for bringing this information to your community.

Fumi please weight in on Bethanny Frankel formerly of RJONY giving used makeup to workers at TJ Maxx and filming it and receiving backlash for essentially having a yt savior complex. I know that you know what it’s like to work in retail and be put on the spot by customers. And I know you know what it’s like for people to make weird assumptions about what you based on your job and or ethnicity. Thank you for sharing. This maybe helpful for a few who would like similiar services in the states now. I am not sure if they on the same level but there has been hair specialist for a very long time in a few states in America for black women, in cities that I live near (Atlanta, Ga) or I have lived near called trichologist. I also visited Black Trichologist and their "spas", near Columbia, South Carolina, 20 plus year ago.and again in Atlanta about 13 years. I was young and natural majority of my life so the services were beneficial and knowledgable. However, my services were for preventative or future circumstance as I aged. Google Black Trichologist and you all should find something similiar near or closer to you, in the mean time.

Hello FumiNation. Sister Fumi, you delight me when I saw your African Fashion event showcasing your inexplicable figure transformation on the cover. Yes Mamma!! Serve it to us!! The update on the hair journeys of the two of you peas in a pod, lol, will be most insightful and inspiring. Especially being so fashion forward in your professional lives, gives us a sincere grasp of what dealing with Black hair trauma looks like. There's been a healthy hair/ natural hair movement afoot in Black America for some time now. But oddly enough, the tide is swinging back to relaxers/smoothing products like Texture Release Systems by Affirm, that are not as harsh as relaxers but fortify the cuticle so that it's more manageable allowing easier wet styling ( no poofing) or Silk Pressing, again ( no poofing and extended timeline) but still permitting the natural curl/ kink to be worn. The process extend for 6-8 weeks or more depending on the frequency of washings. The texture release process is NOT permanent and wears off over weeks. It can be reapplied without fear of damage like relaxers and again, once applied you have the CHOICE to have considerably much more manageable, shiner hair with a looser curl and/ or straighten your hair with a flat iron. This process is best applied by a licensed and knowledgeable stylist who's expertly acquainted with all the variables of YOUR texture, lifestyle and hair goals. Because Sister FUMI is going gradually back to "natural" her resurgence to the runway/ editorial + Influencer profile need NOT be "limited" to wearing just wigs or lamenting whether her natural hair is long/ short enough for an event. She can have BOTH styling options and NOT contaminate her scalp's ability to grow or the @hairstudiobyenitan regimen. The London- based, African, female- owned stylist, KZitem African hair Silk Press "goddess" in my mind and Texture Release Systems expert is @JenniferCynthiaHair. She's also a hair styling " beast" in providing the Black hair love and nurturing and styling versatility. Her KZitem Channel Jennifer Cynthia has all her socials/ booking info. Much love to you all in London. This is NOT an advertisement but just a bit of information that allows varying avenues of choice for women/ men to wear their natural and style with ease with enhanced properties of moisture retention and defying the dreaded (poofing) in humid climates. And just for me, Sister FUMI talk as much as you want/ like/ desire cuz to be frank, I'm MORE than ready for the Oprah/ Tamron Hall/ Kelly Clarkson/ Sherri Shepherd hour-long format. Look, I know, I know, I know..... girlllll, you are doing "it" behind the scenes (no pressure) just saying ❤❤❤ what you're putting out; wifey and mommy duties aside. Christina, we all shared in your scalp examination revelation and felt your realization of what the next step to healing were to be. ❤❤❤ I had to add, regarding the " Barbie" fashion review; after savoring your takes on what was hot, we need a "FUMI" doll. I'm fully aware you know who to reach out to and request a collaboration. I'm just saying, the manufacturer made all of those dark skinned, high-fashion, limited edition Barbies. They also made the limited edition RuPaul dolls and most recently RuPaul Drag Race All-Stars winner, Trixie. Trixie is L.A. based, lover of all things Barbie, owns his/ her own cosmetic company, Trixiecosmetics.com, hotel, bar, reality TV show, Netflix documentary , musician and wait for it, wait for it, BFA in Theatre, so you both share the love of the cinematic arts. And he's always filming in London for a drag singing reality TV show with your principal actress buddy, Vanessa Williams. You should reach out to him to collaborate and he'd ❤❤❤ to add you to his PR list. His latest Summer 2023 stuff for the eyes, you'd ❤❤. Check out his KZitem channel. Slide into his DM's and enjoy/ collaborate. Lastly, I know I'm late on the fashion tip regarding the monumental Chanel in Africa fashion show featuring African textiles/ artisans. I hope I haven't missed your insider's take on all things African, couture and Chanel, the models, the location, etc. Naomi Campbell was there and former British Vogue editor, Edward Enninful. ❤❤ FUMI from New York, NY your old stomping ground. Can't wait for your return "sooner than later."

When I left the chemicals behind and started looking for remedies for my hair it started growing like wildfire. I also have thinning in the temple and the crown. My hair is waist length but the thinning spots grow but remain thin. I’ve also started menopause. I will have to get a check up to see if something can be done to restore the thinning spots
