Lenten flatbread
Ingredients: water 650 ml, flour 350 g, salt 5 g, sugar 5 g, vegetable oil for frying 500 ml.
Recipe: Boil water and add a teaspoon of salt and a spoonful of sugar. Add flour and stir quickly. Let the dough sit for 3-5 minutes. Allow to cool. Place on the table and stir in the flour a little until it is elastic. Knead the dough so that it does not stick to your hands, gradually adding flour. Cover the dough with foil and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the resulting dough into about 8-10 identical balls. Roll out into a thin cake using a rolling pin.
Fry our resulting flatbreads in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
