Another track in the works, made with my modular synth and Ableton push 2. A distinct style developing that I enjoy exploring more in the vein of Frank Bretschneider.
This is an un-edited arrangement jammed with clips I recorded in an earlier session using my modular synth. If the track holds up, I will go back in to tweak the arrangement a bit more before committing to a final mix and master. Going through a huge Frank Bretschneider fanboy phase, I hope it shows :-) Many of the sounds are made using the Akemie's Taiko module by ALM Busy Circuits.

It's nice to hear that my sounds are becoming more controlled and while there's a lot going on, the arrangement still feels minimal. In the past I tended to use tons of layers and everything became a big heavy audio sausage. Now I'm striving for a certain clarity/transparency and simplicity. I think If I push (haha) myself even more, I think I could even go more minimal, and discover the essence of these compositions, with even fewer elements.
Towards the end I accidentally launched a pad synth clip I didn't even realise was in the project, it happened to work, but its super cheesy so I am not sure its a keeper. The climax works but I'd be more happy if it wasn't a standard pad sound but rather something more creative.
