Nice! I love me some Battletech! Can't tell you how nice it is to see some variety from the usual fare of GW minis. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers!

I have been playing BT since 1996. It is a great pleasure to see more and more tutorials for painting mechs. Especially with the really superb new sculpts. Hopefully they will come in metal too. Thank you a lot. Your method of paintig is simple but the result is very appealingto me. Strangely airbrushing seems no to be common in the BT community. Even the majority of the guys from Camospecs appear not to have one or are into it since only a short time. But how I hate to shade every singel panel with a brush... 🙃

Gutentag! Steiner Scout Squad strikes again! I just played the FlashPoint where they guy was saying weight limit of 230 tons... "If I see a Steiner Scout Squad or a 4 pack of King Crabs we're outta here..."

Late correction, but classic BT is SUPPOSED to be 6mm scale (says so in the rulebook even), but in practice the minis lean closer to 8mm scale. Clickytech was 10mm, and its models are massive compared to the classic ones.

Yeah, but are they big? Stompy? Robots? Big stompy robots? If it fits on the hex, it's fine.

Love it! Your videos have really inspired me to experiment with airbrushing and to get back into mini painting. I love that you did a Battletech Mech. Those were some of the first models I was ever introduced to and things brings back great memories of huge campaigns I used to play. Though down with Steiner and long live House Marik and the Free Worlds League. :)

Since you have been such a great help to me and others I thought I would share something related to something you said in this video that may help you. Stop using white paint in the airbrush altogether. Use Daler Rowney White ink instead (not my idea came from goobertown minis.) Life changing for me as I just (thanks to you) started using the airbrush for more than base coats and varnish.

sure is! But they just came out with the universe book which has lots of good examples of units. For House Davion, the House book contains a lot of unit schemes
