Ocean warming and evaporation around the Antarctic Peninsula is causing increased rainfall instead of snow. This has a deadly impact on gentoo penguin chicks whose downy feathers are not adapted for rain.
In this video film maker and environmentalist John Weller shows us that the impacts of climate warming are occurring all over the world, both near to home and in the remotest regions, and that it is time to choose optimism, inform it with science and compassion, and then act together in the face of these challenges. It is a moving and heart-felt plea to join forces in the face of environmental change.
