Ryan is the kind of guy you'd want as a cellmate. Time would go by extremely fast listening to his stories. Rest in peace brother 🤙

@@chaddevine565 Well what part would you go far for? Your response is muddled. Normal response would go more like- No i wouldn’t want him as a cellie.

I'm 45, a graduate of both Aspen Achievement Academy (Utah) and CEDU High School (January 1996 - June 1998, Running Springs, CA) and still living the same type of life I began living when I first got high at 14. What I've learned so far of Ryan's story is so very similar to my own. I'm at the end of Juvy 5 right now, and just came here to voice my appreciation that these new (to me) episodes are still dropping and express my gratitude at finding out about this man, if a little late. Thank you, Karina! 💚 As I should, I know full well that my life would also be over by now, the type of drug addict I am, if I had anywhere along the way ever chosen to cross that penultimate line into IV use, and/or if opiates had ever been my preferred poison, instead of the damnned old drink + these stimulants... as it is I just get to watch everything burn slowly, feel every minute of every year that goes by in which the thing that started out as Me is further twisted, corrupted and choked away. At 39, got to know just what all acute liver failure entails, and then but got to not die from it but instead join the ranks of those who've been told, professionally advised, that they must never again drink alcohol and/or otherwise poison themselves, as to do so would now mean the swift and certain and this-time-irreversible failure of the body's ability to cleanse itself, and that kind of death is truly undignified, and but who didn't listen, who couldn't find a way to make it possible to now go live the second half of life differently than how I'd lived the first.....
