He has 3 songs that blend into one another: This is what falling in love feels like, Golden hour, This is what heartbreak feels like. Fairly sure it's deliberately done but I don't know if they're actually meant to go together A song I would suggest is Giants by True Damage. Think I'd class it as a rap/pop mix. Its a song created for league of legends, a video game that inspired the Netflix show Arcane :)

Is that the order that the songs are supposed to go in?

@@d_and_d_reacts I've seen one video mixing all 3 in that order, and a few mixing golden hour and this is what heartbreak feels like in that order. I don't believe the artist has released anything saying that that's how it's supposed to go, but it matches too perfectly to be a coincidence!

I'm reacting to your "first time hearing" this song. The first thing I noticed was that I saw an "Oh, SHIT!" go across your face when he hit the word "Shine." Welcome to the masses who have been listening to this for a while - it hit us the same way. The "Oh, SHIT" look was replaced by the look of a little boy that was looking at a beautifully dressed Christmas tree...a look of amazement - I can appreciate that. My second observation - although it was a lyric video, she was singing along. Chances are she already knew the lyrics, but it was neat that she was singing. Third - You seemed so peaceful listening/reading as the song played. The next time you listen, let memories into your mind as he's singing. Fourth - she kept looking over at you to see how you were reacting. I hope this song reaches down inside you like it has with, apparently now, the rest of the world. It affects each one us differently, but it's a common theme. I wish you well on your future reactions, and wish you understanding in finding out what the song means for each of you individually.

He's 22 and incredible. Listen to a his whole album. He also did one with Charlie Puth. He's from Rhode Island. Check out the internet. You Tube chose his picture to display in the big middle of Times Square. Go have a look/see. He's written over 1000 songs. He also writes for other people. He wrote "upside down" hence Jake's logo he simply used a v for an upside down A. The girl listening with you needs to change her attitude. She looks like she's making fun of him. I am much older and was a professional singer for years. Bet she doesn't have the chops to do what this young man does. He plays keyboard, drums and guitar. He graduated 2 years early from high school and started college at 14. His father is a pastor and his mother a music teacher. So don't go off on him until you do a little research. His album dropped 3 weeks ago and it tells a whole story about the beginning of love, when it goes wrong, the breaking up and grieving over what was going to be his future and coming to terms with it and moving on. So it's told in four chapters. He wrote, produced and preformed the entire album and spent a very long time perfecting it. But there are many songs out there! I'm not asking you to be gentle, I'm telling you to be fair in your assessment. He is NOT a lovesick TEENAGER, but an already well recognized multi-talented individual. You will find interviews with him everywhere on numerous radio stations, MTV, I heart radio, etc. I'm old and memory fails me. And no I'm not related to him. He is right up there with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Charlie Puth and I can go way back to Kenny Loggins, Billy Joel, Elvis Costello, Shania Twain, etc. Oh so many. Thanks for listening.

OK ITS NOT POP, JAKE'S MUSIC IS MELANCHOLY Sadcore is a subgenre occasionally identified by music journalists to describe examples of alternative rock characterized by bleak lyrics, downbeat melodies, and slower tempos, or alternatively, songs with deceivingly upbeat melodies that are simultaneously characterized by depressive lyrical undertones or imagery.!!!!!!

The album is based off of the cycle of relationships. You fall out of love and you go back in eventually falling out again and repeating it. Stop at golden hour its represents marriage. Stop at what heartbreak feels like you get a cheater. Stop at I cant help it he gets back with her and continues the cycle until he wants to break it.
