Sorry to tell. I've lived in Jyväskylä hole my life and there's a major social economy problems these days. The city of Jyväskylä in very intebted which partly coused by poor decisions of the city council and of course other reasons. That leads to reducing of cervices, for example shud down youth facilities and many other things. Even the video scenery's are nice, in my opinion this city is not so good place to live for families as it has been past decades.

Thank you so much Ani! 🥰❤ I’m really happy you enjoyed watching this video. This city is just gorgeous. I think the amount of wild nature around is the best part about it. Wow, such low temperatures must be very unusual for Florida. I hope it gets warmer very soon. It's pretty cold here as well and we still have piles of snow everywhere. I can't wait for it to melt away😊. Thank you for this comment and for your kind words. I appreciate it so much! All the very best to you and your loved ones. Take care! Sending you big hugs 🤗💕🌿🌸✨🍃🌻☘️

Hi Olia! Thanks for the great video! I live in a municipality right next to Jyväskylä called "Muurame", and i visit JKL very often. Loved the videography and accurate description. Muurame is a really nice place, only around 12km away from central Jyväskylä. It's essentially just a downsized city, which means it's even more peaceful. We have stuff like schools, a shopping center, a ski resort, many lakes, forests, many sports activites, pretty much everything you would want in a bigger city. Would love to see you visit sometime

Hi there! It's really nice to hear from someone living so close to Jyväskylä, and I’m happy that you enjoyed this video. Your description of Muurame makes it sound like a very nice place with everything one could need. I've had a chance to explore some municipalities north of Jyväskylä, such as Laukaa and nearby areas, and I loved them. So I definitely want to explore more and I’d love to visit Muurame in the future. Thank you for reaching out and for the invitation. 😊

You actually made my city looking beautiful. It's hard for a local to see the beauty of it. I have always wondered how people from other places think Jyväskylä looks really pretty. Also people abroad are totally confused how athletic and sporty locals are not just students which study in the sports uni. Some comments I have heard are for example "I have never seen so many people jogging and doing other sporty activities and it's all age groups including old people" -yup it's totally normal to see old people active here. Swimming, skiing, bicycling, walking, jogging and roaming in forests gathering berries and mushrooms. And actually I have to agree with that comment since I have been and living in many others places too but Jyväskylä stands out with this.

Jyväskylä is wonderful. I think that out of all the big cities in Finland, Jyväskylä feels the closest to nature. And yes, I was really impressed with how active people are there. I can assume that this is because Jyväskylä offers so many opportunities for outdoor activities, and it’s clear that the residents make the most of it. Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot to know that my video resonates with someone who knows and loves the city so well.

You can try to apply for a job in the local Post logistic center either for post delivery (if you have got a driving license) or sorting out packages and parcels. It's physically hard job with odd hours (three-shift work) but if you don't mind that it's suitable even for students that don't speak finnish.
