Three minutes of select classic jingles, legal ID's, bumpers and liners used on K-Earth 101 Los Angeles back in the 1980's. Remember the drumroll jingle?? In fact, the very first legal ID on this montage was introduced sometime in the late 1970's. Some of these jingles are associated with their huge weekend holiday specials, such as the Firecracker 300 and the #1 Music Weekend over Labor Day under PD Bob Hamilton, when KRTH was owned by RKO. This will take you back to a much better time in radio broadcasting when K-Earth 101 had a HUGE music playlist, creative programming, great and personable DJ's and incorporated the Johnny Mann Singers in their jingles. I am not affiliated with K-Earth 101, just an avid music radio fan compiling these as a flashback to an amazing and memorable time in Los Angeles radio history.
Sorry about some of the jingles being slightly cutoff at the end or ones with music in them. These are around 30-40 years old. Enjoy!!
