Thank you so much for translating!!! This song makes me so happy! ❤ I love how Käärijä is definitely one of the realest guys in Hip-hop and Rap. (I'm from the US and our rappers mostly rap about money and women)

@@mmnde12 Yup! I've heard it too and it's a great (and relatable) song! And I love the music too! That's why I love Käärijä! I mostly listen to metal and rap, and compared to what American rappers rap about, Käärijä raps about real stuff and is completely relatable. That's why I think he's one of the realest guys in rap and should be the king of rap.

I love this song so much! I find Kaarijas songs great to listen to just for the beat, but seeing what the lyrics mean is just the cherry on top.

Finnish jeans pioneer Matti Majava has stated that Mic Mac was the only jeans brand in Finland that succeeded in the 1990s in gaining the popularity of the hip hop generation. This song tells about the favorite clothing store of the youth of the beginning of the millennium in Helsinki, where hip hop guys and tough guys bought their clothes.

I personally think the song is more. It's about a boy's childhood. Having these chill events with family but also these rough times with fighting, rowdyness and detention. I think the underlying message of the song is quite literally: "Boys will be boys". It's about the part in a boy's life where they do all sorts of unacceptable stuff and have to take responsibility, but it's okay because of the underlying attitude (of "Mic Mac boys"; a peer into a teen's mind).

It's the very jeans brand that the Finnish hiphop people (and anyone trying to be cool) wore in the late 90's / early 2000's.
