I had a water pump leak in my 2005 VW Passat Turbo, so the leak is almost fully eliminated, after pouring in K SEAL but now concerned that the fiberous material will bring on other problems such as clogging the heater core part of engine or any serious problems down the road? Or does K Seal do this repair with no risk to long term reliability of cars engine and heater or any other important functions? And pro mechanics particularly Audi made German cars like my Passat?

It says on the bottle that you can remove it after repair made. Perhaps have coolant flushed and replaced with new coolant.

can you disconnect the heater core- use gravity feed and seal the leaking heater core with boiling hot water and kseal? a filler bucket on the hood and long hose?

Wow, your thinking out of the box. I do think to get k-seal to work you need pressure so not sure gravity would work. Unless you can pressurize the connection with a radiator tester they have at autostores for free. They also make a heater core bypass hose and clamps. Walmart sells it. If you use that there will be no heat so that kind of sucks. I should be updating this post over time to let people know if fix holds. So far 3-4 weeks and still no loss of fluid. I think this worked for me because my fluid was recently replaced and my leak wasn't impossible to fix. I am sure at times this doesn't work for some people where their system is way too damaged. I actually read that chrysler new cars had trouble losing antifreeze their fix was to put sealant into them from the start.
