Very useful and easy idea 🙂 Thank you. I have started gardening after retirement a few months back. I'm also doing this but I have a doubt... please clarify it. Should I water or pour curd every now n then for these two months..?.
@lathaskaimanam6025
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for your time to comment. In intial stages until u reach a full grow bag,u can add curd weekly once. Then if you are going to keep it aside for 2 months, u can mix curd in layers and keep it aside closed with a cloth.u need not open it and pour curd again.leave it undisturbed in a shady area. Do try it & let me know

I've been composting for about a year...one thing I o observed was egg shells don't get degraded easily..it's better to dry and grind egg shells before composting...

Lovely description... Everytime I plan to start.. i just think of where to get a barrel ?? Oh I don't have this with me. So I skip doing it... Luckily saw yr video today.. I'll start rt away bcoz i do have grow bag at home. One question somebody told that we shouldn't add citrus fruits like tomato, lemon and oranges sweet lime .is that true? Can we add tea waste ? But we add milk and sugar..can we rinse once with running water and the tea waste too? Please let me know
@lathaskaimanam6025
2 жыл бұрын
thanks so much for ur valuable time to comment. i usually add citrus fruits dried in sun for couple of days & tear it into tiny pieces & add to compost. wash tea waste in running water , dry it little and add to compost. milk & sugar & salty items should not go into compost bin. add sour buttermilk to compost weekly.

S, u can add tea waste. Filter it add it without water or liquids
Add neem cake powder to your compost to prevent ants. Or else use Chalkpiece for ants, make a circle and keep the grow bags inside the circle. Either way works

U need to add more cocopeat to remove extra moisture. Don't add water or buttermilk additionally. Keep it dry. Then can prevent root and bad smell from it.
