Bonjasky was my favorite fighter back in the day. I dearly enjoyed his 2003/2004 run. Hoost, Aerts, Sefo and LeBanner were some of the all time greats. Gary Goodridge, Bob Sapp and Mighty Mo were some of the most entertaining characters back then.

The Ref did a really great job, very aggressive style but also very safe because he didn't call any fights too late. Thank you for the upload.

The first highlight is Hoost knocking out Maurice Smith, who went on to beat Mark Coleman for the UFC Heavyweight title.

that hoost-bonjasky fight could have been the final, insane level
Who remembers all the Musashi robberies? I dearly enjoyed when Bonjasky, who was my favorite fighter anyways, beat him both times in the finals. One time Musashi didn't even had to fight in the Final 16 and was qualified for the Final GP automatically. And in one of the two finals the gave him 2 extra rounds.

Les deux extra rounds de Bonjasky contre musashi… c’était une blague ? Bonjasky a gagné le combat depuis la fin des 3 premiers rounds

Musashi shouldn't have even been there - he also LOST his semi final fight to Thai boxer as well. Home town judges making a disgrace of the sport.

K-1 started losing credibility because of tournaments like this one. Musashi, heart of a lion, but let's be honest - he LOST his semi-final fight to the Thai (judges gave him some home town scoring). And then he lost the final to Remi after 3 rounds (judges gave him some more home town scoring), then he LOST the fight AGAIN after the 4th round (judges gave even MORE home town scoring - with sugar on top). Disgraceful home town judges. Remi won this fight 3 times. This is also what the Japanese judges did to Buakaw more than once. Seems Thai fighters can't get a fair judge in Japan.

Judges were only paid to give Musashi 2 decision victories. Had they been paid for 3 Musashi would have won the tournament.
