@@jdmnuggets Not going for a swap. Probably a cheap Ep3R (European version) or maybe a Dc5R import. If I were to do a swap again, I would go for a 5th generation Civic sedan. Nice long wheelbase and not much weight.

Yeah there is a thick walled socket you can get that apparently extracts the bolt with an impact.

I don’t know if I missed it but the 50 VTC do you install it in the locked or unlock position? I hear different things and don’t know which.

I believe i installed it unlocked and then turned it to lock by hand when i went to do the chain install. Thanks for watching 😁

Thanks, appreciate it! Cool, did you swap the crv yourself ? Be keen to get some info on it, got content on it anywhere? Removing the oem oil pump / balancer removes rotational mass allowing the engine to rev faster & higher safely, can push it higher with supporting mods. 50 degree cam gear allows for big gains in mid range which is where you do most of your driving.

Depends on supporting mods, eg intake and exhuast size, but typically you're looking at around 210 to 230 wheel hp

From memory around 200,000km, but is was in a loan vehicle for a body shop that ironically got into an accident.. apparently it was serviced regularly with honda parts and it shows.

Hello, very nice content sir, are you going to use this build as frankenstein all motor k20 k24? So what will be your setup and your goal by changing all these bolt ons? Will you need a reflash / program the ECU for these bolt ons to work?

Yo!! The head on this particular version k24 dosen't really need to be swapped out for a k20. Already flows plenty. Its running on a kpro v4.
