The K5 came as a big surprise.
Why is the whisky called K5?
The blend is made in honour of the 5th king of Bhutan, HM King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck.
What does it nose and taste like?
You will love this blend if fresh-cut grass, dried fig, and cinnamon are your taste palette.
Why is K5 whisky called a Himalayan Whisky?
The makers claim that they distil the home-grown organic grain with the glacier water coming from the Himalayas.
Why do you say it is made by Bhutan Armymen?
Well, it is made in Gelephu distillery which is an Army welfare project initiative catering to occupation for ex-Armymen of Bhutan.
