Very nice little backup/piggyback knife. I do have a Becker Necker but this little gem is way cheaper to buy in multiples. Thanx for the review mate, I'm sold on this knife and will be adding one to most of my larger survival knives.

I have most of the "BK" Ka-Bar knifes and I can contribute with the follow information: The Ka-Bar Bk13 Remora with 3 holes is made in China and the one with 4 holes is made in the USA, the 4rd hole is located in the finger guard. That is the easy way for recognize China from USA made in this model.

The poorly designed sheath has me worried :(, since i would have to spend extra cash for a custom kydex sheath since i would have to wrap it or put some scales on it, Other than that i LOVE this little knife :) looks awsome! :), i'm really digging small little fixed blades ever since i got my Izula. Great review Mark!!! Seriously you did a GREAT job reviewing it :)

I'm not a hunter these days so none of that has been done. I have this simply as a backup blade and should I need to use it for those purposes I've no doubt it would do the job. Check out the KA-BAR Johnson Adventure Piggyback too, I prefer it to this one. I've got a review in my fixed blade playlist. Thanks for watching.

@TheLazySpoiledKitty I don't think the sheath is so bad, it is cheap sure, but it works. I'm liking these small skeleton style knives, just got another model to try. I am trying to decide between an Izula of the Becker ESEE.

Hard to believe Becker designed a huge round chunk of metal right where your finger should be.

HEY MARK i enjoy watching your videos i just recently brought the hawks hellion survivor 2020 its awesome, sheaths great to it has 2 big pockets to store essential survival items.i think the knife would excel in all tasks except maybe gutting/skinning not that ive tried to yet.I really like the looks/size of the bk13 Remora and it would fit nicely in sheath pocket to make the hellion complete.have you done any gutting, skinning, filleting.ect and hows the remora holding up thanks ( :

@TheRATPT01 It should retain well, that little indent on the sheath locks the knife in pretty good. However, it is only plastic so long term it may weaken. Pity it's not kydex, but then I guess the price would be that much higher.

@zogary1 Have not tried hootchis cord, I'm have lots of paracord and keep finding new uses for it. I think this would attach to a pole no problems if you wanted to make a spear, maybe a little small but it should work.

I just got the Becker BK7 with the small sheath and need a small multi purpose knife for the front sheath. How much did it cost you mark? Did you get it in Oz? If so where? Thanks Nice comments on the sheath, it does strike me as a bit of a hazard. Cheers

Appreciate your enthusiasm mate but I got one of these, or similar, free with my bk9. I've never found a single use for it it 6 years. Maybe lashed as a spear point but don't know. Too small for any cutting tasks, compared to the necker or izula, for the price. Pretty pointless very small sharp piece of metal. Is this carbon steel? Maybe used as a striker but you get a but of metal with a Flint rod for free. Keep up the videos but wouldn't recommend buying it for itself.
