If you've had enough of people racing through the process of putting a connector on coax while giving you lots of face time, this video is the opposite. Here all the mistakes are made and discussed.
I slowly and clumsily strip an end of RG8X with a cheap plastic stripper, fine-tune the strip with a box cutter, then crip the connector on, backtracking a couple of times, and then solder the pin, again doing it twice, with a clean-up-the-solder process using the box cutter. Finally, test the result with a VOM. No face time. (some foot time - oops)
