I was around BUSIA during these killings. When NRA took over power in Kla and were moving Eastwards, there was reports of looting in other towns by fleeing solidiers. These forced former soldiers hailing from Busia to take charge of guarding Busia town. All soldiers who were crossing from Majanji barracks and other military installations were made to surrender their guns. When NRA reached Busia, theyu convinced some of the former soldiers to surrender and join them. What we were met to know later, these former soldiers were tortured. Most of them had to flee across the border.. That is when the killing of RCs started. So when you here some pipo saying there was no FOBA, it was govt plan: These are just lunatics who think always being negative makes them smile and proud.
